For Heartstopper, I think the popularity definitely had an impact on the “ending” of the overall story.

I didn't enjoy Heartstopper S3 and didn't catch up with the comics, did you read the later volumes?

I agree that Rachel is probably under a lot of pressure, I hope she writes what she wants and doesn't pander to the fandom.

I read them all but honestly they are kind of a boring read. Though I suppose I am way out of the age range for them so that’s probably on me

From ar Rachel. I hope as well as her Parkinson's slowing her down, at least some of the delay has been due to her being busy spending all her LOVELY NEW MONEY

I wonder if the announcement(s) she refers to the end are what's next for the TV show? Filming dates / whether it's s2 or that potential special and then s2. In the producers' recent podcasts it sounded like we weren't far off news there.

I imagine that this new book release will be shortly after s2 has come out
