I think I'm just a news addict.

It's probably a bit shameful that I don't. But politics it just one big shitshow that I've made a conscious decision to avoid in certain respects where I can for about a couple of years.

I'm not sure if making myself wilfully ignorant is a good thing, but it probably makes me less despondent.
