Very pleased with my Longing LP. Sounds very good and nice liner notes too. I have all the songs from the Jeff Barry LP across various CDs but I'm wanting Faithful now to go with it.

Been listening to Cameo this evening. My picks haven't really changed: Tupelo Honey is an outlier and a throwback but the obvious stand out. I've always loved the soapy drama of Who Gets Your Love and the messily-named Who Could Be Lovin' You Other Than Me too.

Classic period:

The Look of Love is almost too perfect - it glides above on another level.

Then:

How Can I Be Sure

Late:

Nothing Has Been Proved.

It must have been particularly wounding to see "How Can I Be Sure" essentially flop for Dusty, only to top the charts 20 months later for David Cassidy.

"I Can't Help The Way I Don't Feel" is a highlight from her final album.

I mean the production is terrific - so yeah, v sucky.

NO!

60s choices would be Just A Little Lovin' (but, really, the entire Dusty In Memphis album) and Goin' Back. The decade was so perfect for her output-wise.

70s I enjoy the covers of Tupelo Honey and That's The Kind of Love I've Got For You.
