Kath and Kim

Ya know what, I own the first series... and it's OK. I've watched two episodes of the second series... and it's OK.

But it just doesn't excite me at all... there's very few laugh out loud moments in it.
 
Not really - everyone I know thinks the same. I've not found a single straight person that likes it actually.
 
Both my family and friends all LOVE IT and I don't hang around with FAGS.
 
Well obviously your family and friends are right and my family and friends are contrary to public opinion then... *sigh* Because apparently your opinion carries more weight than mine.

Although really, my mates, my parents, my brother, Mr Tim all seem to ENJOY and QUOTE IT...

It's an acquired taste. Much like The Office which didn't appeal to everyone. I don't see what the issue is.
 
Well yes, absolutely. It doesn't mean I'm being 'contrary' for the sake of being contrary though, which I take offence to. Somebody starting on me for the sake of starting on me AS USUAL.

You should've just gotten the complete boxset from Oz, hilarious stuff! Oh and you get free stickers too :D
 
I have the Aus boxset and my stickers have been put to good use! I like the way the colours of the boxset match Kaths blouse!
 
whats in the box set ? cos i bought all mine seperatley from Oz....
 
All 3 series with the usual extras. I think they are the same extras that are appearing on the indiviual releases. but the boxset has been out about 18 months or so, so was worth getting at the time. Plus its much cheaper if you get it off ebay or sommat than buying it individually.
 
oh right. ive had my dvds ages now though, got them when they first came out in Oz
 
Amazon shipped my Series 2 dvd today. I didn't watch the series on Living or BBC2 as I'll probably have a Kath and Kim Christmas marathon when I go home for a few days.

I adore them 2! They make me wanna go vysit Australia, and Fountain Lakes is a must visit!

I love the way they reference to all things Asian, on first series, after Kim came back from Bali, she had a few too many Nasi Gorengs :D :D

I just got the DVD boxset (Living TV Complete Series 1 & 2) off HMV.co.uk for just £7. Check it out, must have!

Well you know when i ran up your credit card so I could get enough air miles for a trip for your honeymoon?; well they called and you're going on 3rd October at 3AM, they couldn't tell me where to but they could say its not out of the state....

I actually CRIED the first time I saw that!

they would present awards at the 'logies' (crap australian tv awards show) which was always pretty funny. kath wore a copy of celine dion's white suit with the backward coat once. i'm not sure if the clips are on youtube though...

you used to be able to buy fridge magnets, where you could dress them in their different outifts. they were GRAYSH!

so is season 4 any good?? am slightly concerned about the change of channel though - channel 7 has ads every 5 minutes...
