I agree with all these reasons, but for me, I love her overall for acting with a lot of grace and dignity over the years. If I'd had the shit that was thrown at her as a teenager, I can guarantee I'd have gone completely off the rails. Constantly being referred to the 'ugly one' by all and sundry (especially that cunt Chris Moyles), yet NEVER once starting back on other people, and ALWAYS without fail replying cleverly along the lines of 'why should it matter what I look like'? She's a right wonderful little example of dealing with bullying intelligently, and coming out of it the other end. I LOVE YOU NICOLA!

SHE EVEN COMES OFF WONDERFUL IN DIGITAL SPY ARTICLES!!!

Watch out for the bit where Kate asks her how Cheryl is. She literally couldn't give a SHIT and refuses to have her name involved in her interview. Wonderful.
 
Good she BE any more fabulous? That outfit and hair is amazing. Robotboy needs to get in this thread STAT and start appreciating Queen Nic in all her glory.

I love the way she disses that AWFUL Walsh woman. "If YOU'RE happy with fake tan, that's fine, you should be what you want to be... but I think it's better to look more QUIRKY and INTERESTING". Does she make eye contact with her even ONCE? I think NOT :D

Oh she is WONDERFUL (ish) but much as this sounds even better than SHE is, you just know it's going to be some horribly dull midtempo countryfied shit, not that people will probably care either way sadly. If it IS an ice cold electro affair I'm in line already :disco: I can imagine her doing things along the lines of Annie and "Song Reminds Me of You". PLEASE GOD LET IT HAPPEN

What a beautiful post, it definitely makes up for starting this ultimately heartbreaking thread.

I'm also with VoR's reasons, although maybe not liking her just because she's moody (because i'm not sure she is really, she just doesn't bullshit). Recently (well last year) i also enjoyed her turning up to the PJ £20 Music Prize judging ceremony, to swing it in the aloud's favour AND slag off The Loving Kind. I can't think of many other lovely popstars who would do that. I also found her Passions and Off The Record episodes to be utterly lovely.

This source revealed that Nicola had been working with an incredible bunch of producers you'd never associate with Girls Aloud, including groovy beatmaker Dimitri From Paris and Klaxons producer James Ford. Suddenly it all looks and – fingers crossed! – sounds quite promising.

Nicola won the Ultimate Fashionista award at the Cosmo Women of the Year ceremony last night.

Made up accolade it may be but it's better than selling 117 copies of your debut single :disco:

Nicola Roberts has reportedly signed a solo record deal with Universal.

According to the News of the World, the Girls Aloud star was offered a "mega-bucks" contract with the company and has already recorded the majority of her debut album, which is expected to be released next year.

A source said: "Everyone's so excited about Nicola releasing her own album.

"She's very quietly been recording in the studio for the last few months. She's working with some great people and coming up with some great stuff.

"She's being guided by a lot of people who have been involved with Girls Aloud in the past so it's going to be a great record."

The report adds that Roberts's solo plans have made a Girls Aloud reunion even more unlikely, as her fellow bandmates work on separate projects.
