I always check my Asda receipts! I don't have more free time than sense so that must make me a ... oh.

Incidentally, the way to do it is take somebody with you and put all the not-on-offer stuff through first then get the other person to put all the offer stuff through separately on another receipt. I save a bloody fortune with those vouchers and our Tesco accepts them too and knocks them off the bill there. I only do this because 24 hour Tesco and 24 hour Asda are equidistant from me and I do one "big shop" a week so it's easy.

I know what you were saying, I agree with you to a point . If everybody was as much of a lickpenny as me they'd soon rescind the deal, I'm making at least a tenner a week doing it and they haven't cottoned on yet, seems like nothing but it's over £500 a year and I'd rather it was in my pocket than theirs. What on earth are those I Am MoreThan Freeman adverts about? I laughed at the pun the first time around, but they really are bafflingly shit. So much so that even if they caused the company name to stick in my mind, i would actively not use them out of protest. And i'm a Morgan Freeman fan.

I really HATE the advert for the 'i' newspaper, where one of the readers says 'NO CELEB GOSSIP NONSENSE' in a really superior way. And also after a few watches i realised that the reader in question is actually DOM JOLY. I guess it's meant to be ironic because he's a CELEB himself, but if they're trying to make some ironic point or whatever i'm not sure it really works. I mean i can't be the only one who didn't recognise him, and he's hardly a TABLOID FAVOURITE is he. Even when he was on I'm A Celeb i'm not sure anyone really gave a shit.

Also i find the 'upgrade with the daily mail' adverts to be TRULY CHILLING. Because they're bigging up the less fascist and more appealing bits of the paper to try and lure in new unsuspecting victims. And obviously it's not 'upgrading' to buy something so angry and bigoted.

That reminds me, that First Direct (I think) ad with the fucking annoying child growing up to be a fucking annoying call centre worker pisses me off.

Plus the Royal Caribbean cruise ad. "Have you ever done anything really crazy?!" the voiceover says, while the woman on screen wobbles about on a board in a pool. Crazy!!!
