This is going to be a work in progress. Hopefully the thread will never die.

Reason Number 1

"The Music's No Good Without You" as the curtain raiser is a rather WTF moment - certainly not what anyone was expecting after "Believe." However, there is a depth and a certain melancholy to it that will prove to permeate the entire record. It will unravel as it goes along. But as an album, Cher has already got one over us because we all thought it was gonna be another "Believe" but it most certainly isn't. So she already has you interested and you know that £1 is going to go a long way....

I like The Music Is No Good Without You, it's shit but in a very endearing way and one of my favorite electro ballads.

No. 2

"Music's No Good Without You" - the fabulously overwrought and entirely inappropriate bridge.

No. 3

"Music's No Good Without You" - the ridiculous lyrics

3(a). You were the freakiest thing on show :disco:

3(b). I miss you BOY - Madonna eat your heart out. :disco:

Let's RESURRECT one of the MILLION topics on this for a JANUARY BOOST

I MISS YOU
And you're ALMOST HERE
And I'm ALMOST TOUCHING YOU

I've made journeys through light
I've made journeys through dark
And it's the price I've paid (£1)
But I knew from the start
With each beat of my heart
That you'd just blow me away

It was a £1 FOPP CD offer in Charing X after a drunken meal if anyone was STILL WONDERING
