They need to incorporate it into a MKS gig setlist (as long as it doesn't exceed their strict 10 song limit).
 
Do we really think Radio 1 play ist that important anyone ? A lot of the tracks they play rather exlusively miss the Top40/75 (especially 5th and 6th singles they playlist from some Indie rubbish) and the ones that are hits are played by other stations as well.

The video was SUCH a missed opportunity.

It should have had Mutya stomping through Camden kissing her teeth in the direction of a terrified-looking Amelle double.
 
Really overrated. Loved it when it first dropped, was bored of it by the end of that week.
 
I do file it alongside 'So Good' and 'Beware Of The Dog' as a song that was MASSIVELY overrated by the gays.

But I was one of those gays and I still love it.
 
I love that it definitely was not about the Sugababes.

Very much part of this category. All three are great, but none have really stood up that well, but I still do like the odd burst of each.
 
This song is 10/10

I was convinced it was going to be one of the songs of the year - I am never usually wrong at predicting the big hits.
 
The intro/first verse are absolutely top drawer

The chorus is a let-down
 
The video was definitely a let down too - it should have been dark and moody.
 
I remain utterly BAFFLED at the indifference to the GREATEST POP SONG EVER RECORDED by a failed girlband solo star in 2007.

I remember when it first dropped here in NZ, I remember thinking "For such a POW verse, the chorus is underwhelming". And the video just takes away from the song.
 
It's decent but the disappointment when I finally heard it was up there with first spin of VB's "My Love Is For Real". Neither rewrote the very face of pop music as we know it and beyond as had been promsed. CURSES.

'Don't panic panic Mutya just look ahead now' is one of those lyrics I find myself randomly singing apropos of nothing from time to time. Although possibly because I know it irritates Mr L. 'Out in the club and I'm sipping that bub' is another.
 
everything about this track (except the video) is amazing.

the don't panic panic bit is definitely in my regular vernacular.

I was the Lady Jane Grey of the band. I was only in it for a few days before they ushered in Jade Ewen to replace me. Apparently they were looking for someone more black :(

Both are FABULOUS though. I love both mixes of 'My Love Is for Real', pop and dance :disco:
 
I was just going to make a thread about this. I think it's my favourite song ever. Those synths are absolutely everything.

I would have thought it was HUGE but then again I was only 10 and didn't really have any idea how the charts worked. In reality people were probably losing their shit to Umbrella and Beautiful Girls at that time :(
