So - I have never watched any of these Real Housewives shows, apart from a couple of episodes of Atlanta, once Nene Leakes became known.

Well, the Melbourne wives seems to be the flagship version for ITVbe which is the new reality channel from ITV that TOWIE etc. is now on. After one episode I am hooked - especially after spending late last year down under as my Dad lives in Sydney.

My fave is Gina Liano. A barrister that looks like she has come straight out of Vegas and reminds me of Stockard Channing. Please moopy, is anyone else watching? :confused:

The one to beat, for me, is The Real Housewives of Vancouver. It only got two seasons but the evil Jody Klaman and her bitch daughter Mia are TV gold.

Melbourne was fun, but the 'psychic' one got right on my tits.

My favourites are Beverly Hills and New York. Both complete gold mines
 
I like the earlier seasons, New York seasons 2,3 & some of 4 are all amazing (I incidentially found out that Bethenny is coming back). Beverley Hills early on (if you don't wanna be my friend, then pleeeease don't be my enemy), early New Jersey and some of Atlanta.

I gave up when they became 24 episodes with three hours reunions.

I have this on series link, but yet to start. Solely because I love the accent and Australian men are unreal (and that's not even looking at the faces).

The Melbourne accent is just amazing, it's stronger than the Sydney one isn't it I think? :confused: I can just hear Dannii in all of these women, I can kind of see how she MAY have wound Mrs O up :D

With Atlanta, I just haven't bothered, it looks rather dry now Kim has left and there is no arguing with Nene?

The "that wasn't my grandmother, that was a demon" was incredible TV, staged or not. 2 episodes in I'm hooked. What a rip snorter of a show, girls.
 
Her line about how her grandmother would say hi to her face just about saved the entire episode. I want bitch-slapping, not slapstick comedy on skis.

Jackie 'rock star' - her facial expressions are very Celine Dion. The one married to the plastic surgeon is such a bitch, I hate her! She's just being mean to Gina and basically Gina is Stockard Channing gone right. Lydia is gorgeous too.

Last night's episode was a treat. The plastic surgery wife Andrea is horrid - how cringe was she with the women's group talking about her book :D Glad she fell on her face confronting Gina about being rude but doing exactly the same thing.

Liking Janet more and more. I think Kylie will look like her in 15 years. She looks half glamorous half likely to keel over at any minute.

Chyka is the sanest of them all, but her husband and their relationship is creepy :D

Bring on next week with Andrea combusting (in a corn-ah) due to Gina on her tennis court in heels

Andrea talking about personal growth with a motionless post-stroke face, Gina repelling all nonsense (last week's "it wasn't a lie, it was a bad recall" is one of her many unbeatable soundbites), Lydia's "oh that's actually quoite roiszsoinable" (it's. your. husbands. money. bitch) almost topping the cutting cheese comment "don't question my husband", and Jackie's work of art, all hoiloites tonoite for me.

If Chyka is the coffee shop woman, I really like her and find her husband rather attractive. I loved the understanding smile as she softly pointed out Jackie's business flaws a few episodes back. The older blonde woman is noice too, but not quoite different or unusual enough so far.

Gina's tennis entrance is going to be 'uuuge.

I binge watched the entire season the other day. Andrea and Lydia really do show themselves up to be nasty bitches. The reunion is spectacular, Gina delivers on all levels :disco: my favourite is when they show a clip of her saying "bunch of morons" and she goes "I never said that. I don't use the word morons" :D

Poor Baroness Gina of the Shaws in tonight's episode. Andrea is just awful, thank god for CHYKA talking some sense. Lydia I really liked at first but she's just Andrea's lapdog.

Has season 2 started down under?

Series 2 doesn't start until February.

Gina's tagline will be "I deal in FACT not FRICTION" :D

Apparently it's ten times nastier than season one, even though Andrea has left and two new bitches have joined.
 
Speaking of lapdogs, I've not seen last night's episode yet, but on the one before the blonde one who melts her old nose into diamonds had clearly been told to have a problem with Gina as they were both pretty solid on the episode before that.

I actually thought the last episode was more full on than the tennis saga. Lydia making her first move with passive-aggressive relationship questions was a bit surreal, with Gina on the whole episode seeing through everything felt like something of a master-class.
 
I loved the Gina vs Andrea lunch where Gina just got fed up of Andrea's bullshit and just trolled her :D
