I've just spent a very entertaining 20 mins reading through the news.com.au recaps of the Melbourne Housewives series. They're brilliantly written.

This bit made me laugh a lot.

Mob Wives is great because they have proper all out brawls, which they tend not to do on the Housewives.
 
I have a bad feeling our Gina is going to get caught out on this reunion. Jackie and Janet have obviously been storing up shit and will probably stop at nothing to trip her up. I'm sure we'll have nothing to worry about :disco:

My 3-6 vary wildly from one week to the next but a Chyka-centric episode means a 95% more likely chance of glimpsing either hunk o'spunk hot daddy Bruce or ridiculous dancing. Janet's a wonderful old lush but killed it with the Gamble storyline so far. I've hated Jackie in Season 2 - totally redundant and playing up to the cameras (which of course the others aren't :eyes: ) and Lydia is a complete enigma. Either totally unaware (giving the parents of her house-friend/servant a "beautiful picture frame for a picture of Joanna and me") or calculatingly on the ball (winding up Pettifleur about the allowance conversation). PF = awful. But worth it for the Grace Jones comparison from our Gee I guess.

Gamble has been such a success. I bet Andrea's seething/crying somewhere, if her tear ducts haven't been melted by the Botox drainage sluice in her fizzog.

Oh yes. Episode 2 of S2 was INTENSE, to say the least. I thought they would save a fight like that for the end of the season, but No :D
 
isn't gamble just a revalation? she has all the qualities of a perfect housewife, humble, self deprocating, kind hearted and lovely to watch. it was very telling watching the housewives trying to turn her against gina and gamble having none of it. you can tell there is a genuine friendship there. gamble's bitch/cunt line :D

also the sheer bluntness of gina at the dinner with her language *.*
 
also does anyone watch the real housewives of new york city? the past few seasons have been dreadful but im guessing production has altered this season as so far the first two episodes have been utterly superb.
 
Oh New York is my favourite, and yes, this new season has been SO GOOD so far and is obviously going to be the best since season 4.
 
I do love Gamble. She's a much more worthy addition than Pettifleur. Who's just embarrassing.

Big Ang sprinkling cheese onto her ham salad, inaudibly fantasising about wiseguyz and plastic surgery alongside her drab friend who can't keep up, has been my highlight thus far. I also love the woman who is not getting her money's worth from that therapist she occasionally brings up. She looks like death, but I think she's quite beautiful in a scary as hell way (she's quite literally a warts n' all type of broad). I've seen 3 episodes.
 
Are you on season 1? I think you are confusing Renee with Big Ang? :D

Oh, I switched between talking about them, I still don't have the names down. Renee was reading out her letter whilst the friend (who I think should be a keeper for the show) was drinking wine from a glass big enough to be a goldfish bowl.

I love how Bethenny came back an it's the Bethenny show now. The other six just float in and out (has pretty is smart girl done anything other than show us that her husband still doesn't like her?).

The club they went to in episode three was seedy as fuck (a straight club with a dark room?) and Sonja grinding on that twenty four year old was a sight.
 
I can't wait for Bethenny to piss off Heather. I hate her!
