I feel like Moopy never really got behind Tove Lo despite this being a massive sleeper hit in 2014. To be honest her subsequent singles never really twigged with me, but I adore this one - classic Scandi sadpop with a nihilistic twist.

I know the remix was hugely popular, but I still prefer the brooding misery of the original personally. (Not that either version is particularly cheery!)

The original is a solid 7, I don't really care for the remix at all, but the album has many more melodic and poptastic moments. Moments, Thousand Miles, Talking Body, Timebomb, Got Love, This Time Around, Love Ballad and Over are all better. It's a very good album in general, even if it took a few listens to grow on me.

Moopy's total indifference to this miserypop classic continues to bewilder me.

It's decent enough, but not particularly memorable. I do love the middle eight though

It's no "Close" (feat. Nick Jonas) though, now is it :disco:

I'm playing it down. It's not entirely unfamiliar but I've never noticed it before. When was it a hit?

She's churned out a BUNCH of max-tracks to these ears..

11 Out of Mind
10 Moments
10 Stay High
10 Run On Love
09 The Way That I Am
07 Say It

The rest has actually been quite shit, especially that horrid Nick Jonas collab.

tenth anniversary edition of Queen of the Clouds out now with a few bonus/vault tracks including this magnificent bop

this album is such a time capsule. very nostalgic to me. it has a lot of great songs and I think it's held up quite well even though she moved her sound on.

Love Ballad, Like Em Young, Got Love, Thousand Miles, Over, Paradise - bangers across the board :disco:

Why did she sit on Jealousy? Still what a treat.

I loved this album, then struggled a bit with some of Lady Wood, before getting fully back on board.

How dare she withhold Jealousy from our lives from ten years?!
