It's very SOLANGE, isn't it?

LOVE HER in that Radio 1 interview :D "I DON'T KNOW WHAT A HIT IS! I'VE NEVER KNOWN WHAT A HIT IS!"

It's good, but it feels a bit like an album track rather than a big new single. Also, the backing on the verses reminds me SO MUCH of something else I can't place (I'm sure it's from the soundtrack to a film or a game) and it's driving me a bit mad.

The verses are nice but that chorus is a bit jarring. It gets a bit Alicia Keys, I prefer my Jessie rather smoother sounding.

It's not working for me after a few days and multiple listens.

6/10. And it would be a 4 or 5 if it wasn't that voice.

I really like it. It's hardly a great abstract move for our Jessie.

Hmm not doing a great deal for me right now sadly.

When i saw the title "Midnight" i thought she was about to drop this demo from the Tough Love era.

And then there's Midnight Caller too .. she certainly loves writing tracks about 00:00am

midnight caller is ace. this reminds me more of say you love me which is eeeasily my least favourite of her singles. still sounds like something an x-factor contestant would put out.

BLITZES in at #89 to become her FIFTH TOP NINETY SMASH :disco:

Fucking hell. I've just heard this and am INSTANTLY IN LOVE.

It wouldn't be out of place on THE EMANCIPATION tbh

Those are SOME SLEEVES

This is better than Midnight I'd say, but still not exactly a 10/10 moment.

the chorus seems a bit underwhelming but i would not be surprised if this becomes an unlikely hit at all.

Now I LOVE this. What a voice.

And the video is just perfect for it.

Trying to force myself to love it but it's just a 7/10 at the moment. The video is fucking something though!

Loving this so hard right now. She really is wasted on the UK general public.

Yeah it has grown so much on me.

New single, Alone, out now - it's much more akin to the Tough Love era and instant for me.

UK tour tickets on sale next week too!

She's playing the Fruitmarket is Glasgow which is a DIVINE venue.

QUEEN!

Yeah, it's great. I was worried slightly after Midnight, but both the last two are CORKING.

Tour presale if you preorder the album before Monday :disco: I was devastated I had to miss the London promo gig I had a ticket for at the last minute but I'm absolutely THERE for the tour

What's replaced the MAN BUN as the hipster wanker hairstyle du jour? Just so I know what I'll be queuing behind at the bar.
