That's a great cover. With the Nadine COMEBACK on the cards too, I can't work out if Xenomania are doing failed former girl group stars a favour or VICE VERSA.

Oh god if Popjustice do a numbered segment on how the song is amazing just based on that single cover alone then shoot me now.

From the clip at least this sounds like it has some life about it, unlike her last effort. It would be nice if she can get an album out on the back of Strictly with a few more Xenomania selections for old times' sake.

Just listening to this now

That intro :disco:

This is the most depressing slice of shit I've heard all year. What the fuck happened to Xenomania?

Biology.
Sexy! No No No.
Call The Shots.

... Hair Down.

FLUSH

I like it, but it sounds more like it was written for a TV ad campaign rather than as a single.

Cannot believe the Power of MOLLEGEND has united Kala and I in agreement.

I'm not feeling it as much as I'd wanted to.

All hopes pinned on Nadine now.

It's a miss for me. Sounds more like Xenomania tossing off a Saturdays b-side than a Girls Aloud classic.

If this is the most depressing thing you have heard of all year when the charts are in a fucking state you need a hearing test.
IT'S AWFUL. Hardly a surprise that you're losing your shit over it though, let's be real. It's MADE for basic gays.

The song is a bit much, and Mollie isn't enough. It's a no from me.

It's all about:

Don't call, I'm not home
Somebody's got to run the show
Caller busy tone
I'll be the one to let you know

there is[/caps] something about it but the droney bit goes on and she's nowhere interesting enough to keep you looking.

I quite like this. A basic banger for my running playlist is the most I could realistically hope for from a Mollie King solo single, and it definitely delivers that

That said, I do think her bland her vocal perf makes it shitter than it otherwise could be. I mean, imagine it divided up between all five of Girls Aloud (ideally in the Nadine-sings-80%-of-everything days :disco:)

Geri has that Sade-eque richness in her vox tho?

This is pretty SHIT. I was expecting to like it from the descriptions

Wanted to like this but didn't. Doesn't really take off at any point. She seems like a lovely person but as a performer she has even less presence than solo Louise or Emma Bunton.
