Yeah I'll take that. I did feel some of the monologue in the book could have been used.I don't mind narration as such when it complements and adds to the scenes (in books we need those details to paint inner images, on screen faces do half the conveying so let's hear something else). the 'she gave me a box with a lonely ballerina because I'm like the ballerina trapped in a cage' line felt particularly superfluous. I feel it's very condescending and filler when obvious things are explicitly stated
In other news I'm excited and confused as to how series 2 is going to go.


It just seems so much more real seeing it on screen, like it really could happen
