I would welcome a return from all the past moopy females. Emma, Raucous_Bitch, Moonbaby, Kitty Kat, Snork Maiden, Mericat and Nike. We used to be a force to be reckoned with.
 
I would even welcome back @Mrs_B and her satin basque to make up the bloody numbers.

Just the once as I recall. I seem to recall she broke iamstevienicks(!) endless run at the top.

The early MR are winners are HAZY. I feel like iamstevienicks, Sheena and Nike in SOME ORDER. @Indie may know better.

Wasn't it Sheena winning that sent a lot of the Old Skool into a right tizzy? I was only ever a lurker then - well, perhaps posting in the Abba and chart forums, but never within dotlite itself. That felt impenetrable. Then Sheena won (I believe alongside the whole alias thing), and everything changed. The move from old to mid skool, I'd say.
 
And looking at that list of winners, im surprised to see Star only won once. In my head I thought she'd won multiple times.

Didn't Turnerprize win once. Also Diddy (I think).

I'm going to take this thread back to it's initial idea and introduce myself :)

Stumbled across the forum with a couple of google searches.

I'm incredibly shy in person & after a really tough year I thought I would try and make some new friends (As I currently have very few, just generally not good at keeping in touch)

I'm 28, male & from close to Birmingham, UK
I'm quite tech savvy, really enjoy my music (most genres) and my main 2 hobbies are reading / gaming.

Random facts about me-
  • The wife and I have just moved into a 1960's house that we are having to modernise so a lot of my time's going into that at the moment (recently we rewired / replaced the boiler and heating, have done most of the kitchen though it need's some flooring and done the main bedroom which again needs flooring along with new furniture)
  • I'm going back to college to do an IT course as I want to change career in the next year or so (I'm a draughtsman currently and the job is pretty much dying out)
  • I like my vintage / retro stuff mainly from the 70's-90s :) Be it furniture, films, games etc etc

  • Secret pleasures that no one really knows about me -
  • I try to be the strong one to everyone, whether that's as a friend, the hard case in terms of opinions on people circumstances or even if a fight was brewing I will act like i'm not afraid etc yet to be honest i'm just a big softie and would probably give you my last coin if you needed it more than me.
  • I often fantasize about leaving my life behind (Wife and all) and just travelling the world, seeing where I end up type thing.
  • I have huge crushes on Jesy out of little mix and Ariana Grande.
