I'm going to take this thread back to it's initial idea and introduce myself :)

Stumbled across the forum with a couple of google searches.

I'm incredibly shy in person & after a really tough year I thought I would try and make some new friends (As I currently have very few, just generally not good at keeping in touch)

I'm 28, male & from close to Birmingham, UK
I'm quite tech savvy, really enjoy my music (most genres) and my main 2 hobbies are reading / gaming.

Random facts about me-
  • The wife and I have just moved into a 1960's house that we are having to modernise so a lot of my time's going into that at the moment (recently we rewired / replaced the boiler and heating, have done most of the kitchen though it need's some flooring and done the main bedroom which again needs flooring along with new furniture)
  • I'm going back to college to do an IT course as I want to change career in the next year or so (I'm a draughtsman currently and the job is pretty much dying out)
  • I like my vintage / retro stuff mainly from the 70's-90s :) Be it furniture, films, games etc etc

  • Secret pleasures that no one really knows about me -
  • I try to be the strong one to everyone, whether that's as a friend, the hard case in terms of opinions on people circumstances or even if a fight was brewing I will act like i'm not afraid etc yet to be honest i'm just a big softie and would probably give you my last coin if you needed it more than me.
  • I often fantasize about leaving my life behind (Wife and all) and just travelling the world, seeing where I end up type thing.
  • I have huge crushes on Jesy out of little mix and Ariana Grande.

By THE WIFE I think he meant the fact you are straight, as you guys are in a slight minority! This is known as 'The World's Best Gay Chat Forum' (sic) for a reason. Everyone is nice. Well mostly everyone....
