Introduce yourself (4 Viewers)

Who was our last breakout new poster? @OutSynk came after Butt Art, Reet made a strong comeback, but who was the most recent one?

I assumed @heehaw was Scottish because it’s a slang term we use which means ‘fuck all’ or ‘absolutely nothing’

Eg - I went to the sale in Next yesterday but there was heehaw left.

But then I realised it’s also the sound a donkey makes.

Oh he's definitely Scottish :side-eye:

We all know about your TIME FREQUENCY WAYS :tongueout:

I can’t even think of anyone. Can’t believe new people don’t stay TBH. I send them nudes and everything :(

Hello @nerys. Please tell us a bit about yourself? Have you frequented these parts before? How did you find us?

@Neo-Fawkes I don’t think you have posted in here yet. New posters must post in here to introduce themselves or face an instant banning. Who are you? How did you find us? Daddy or chips?

I wonder who the mysterious @Jean de Brissac la Motte might be? Well I’ve got a jolly good idea who he is, but if he’d like to share his intimate secrets I’m sure we can get the chat party started. I’ll bring the pomagne and a moist flan :disco:

It's nice to be noticed. I feel like a wallflower who's been asked to dance.

I opened my account here about seven years ago. I had a disco obsession at the time and I stumbled upon a disco thread and found references to some songs that I'd never heard of before so I got an account hoping to interact. In the meantime I've lurked intermittently, but I am rather shy and haven't managed to find much to say.

Lately I've been trawling through the archives of this site, and perusing the obit and current event threads because the quality of discussion is very good. I've developed a crush on a character in an 80s UK sitcom and have been lapping up any references I can find to her here as well.

My hobbies include yoga, long walks, and board games. Likes are compassion and sincerity. Dislikes include anything with a transistor and loud noises.

Hello. Fresh blood checking in.

Found here when searching for somewhere new to chat about current affairs and general nonsense. Stumbled across a link on "Best of the web" and had a little lurk earlier, it looks pretty friendly with little I could see in the way of toxicity which is good news as that's specifically what I was looking for!

*Helps himself to a mince pie*

Can't help but stick a nose in political threads against my better judgement but I'll pass on a forum completely 100% dedicated to Brexit/Politics :D

Who sat on your pack of emoticons, they're all squashed? At least most of them align well with the text!

Don't mock our emoticons. They're ours :)

(Kudos for calling them emoticons rather than emojis though)

Been around the internet a few times so probably classed as oldschool now :P

Besides, emojis are an interpretation of Unicode rather than the old BBcode-to-image thing we typically refer to as emoticons. /nerd
