MORNING LOVES

I'm off to see Mary Poppins and I have a secret hangover as I was enjoying listening to a selection of Kim Wilde albums I purchased on vinyl yesterday and so stayed up after Mr Sheena went to bed and sank a bottle of red and a couple of REALLY RATHER STRONG gin and tonics. WHOOPS.

Ok so I had a few pieces of toast and a miso soup for brunch (11ish because I woke up too late), met my friend to watch a movie and then to a cafe where I didn’t have food but had two cups of Earl Grey, the second quite strong. That was about 30 mins ago, but I’m having weird light-headed waves, and the hard floor feels like of spongy.

I’m sitting on a train now, does that sounds like too much caffeine on an empty stomach, or low blood sugar or something? (Though now I write it, I put sugar in the tea)

Unsettling

Don't stress Dirty, seems like you're a bit faint. Take some deep breathes and make sure you're sitting down. I watch Casualty and Holby City every week, I'm practically a surgeon.

Earl Grey makes me feel PECULIAR if I make it too strong

Don't DO IT KIDS JUST SAY NO

Caffeine is TERRIBLE for you. I’ve not had any in YEARS and if I accidentally have some, I feel ROTTEN.

(And yes, I am aware of the irony of this considering the other shit I put in my body!)

Baby Kylie has worked out that I generally have a hot drink in the morning and then I go toilet shortly after. The other day he tells a visiting friend 'mamma drink coffee, go poo poo flush toilet'

Earl Grey specifically? Maybe that’s it, I never have it usually.

Fuck you Earl and your toxic masculinity and inbred aristocracy

Is that a coffee enema? I didn’t think you had to use hot coffee for that

Good that flushing has been ingrained as part of the process at such a young age. I wish some people in my office had learned to do that.

It's blowing a gale out there today. This enhanced the Stefan Jaworzyn CD I was listening to but is not doing the same favour to this Rolling Stones album (which isn't that good anyway).

Morning

I'm not convinced i'll be moving from the sofa today.

Sounds like a plan, tbh. I have some Netflix stuff to catch up on and I finally got a reasonably priced copy of The Beatles' "Help" film in HMV yesterday...

I much prefer Lady to Earl Grey. But I'd rather mainline espresso to either.

I came downstairs to a kitchen covered in dogspit and a deranged dog. Ridley's obviously spent all night scratching his ears so the first thing I had to do was clean them out properly, the hair inside was matted down with dry blood, and put his ear medicine in which I had to do by putting it on my fingers and rubbing it in because the ear canals were so swollen I couldn't get the nozzle of the medicine down them. Then I gave him two antihistamines. I then spent the next hour sat next to him on the floor physically stopping him from rubbing them on the carpet or pawing at them which is no mean feat as he's much stronger than me so there was plenty of growling and snarling, they must have been driving him potty. Then I had to wipe down all the cupboard doors and clean the floor. Thankfully he's now zonked out on the kitchen floor and will probably spend the day there.

Nice easy Sunday morning.

2 hour nap. Needed.

Now "back on my bullshit" as the youngsters say with some 1982 bedroom electronics recorded to cassette found on Bandcamp.

Today I got stoned before I got out of bed, I'm still in my pyjamas and I've had a takeaway. Tramp.

I also did some sowing and it turns out I'm quite nifty with a machine. I did do textiles in school but I've not done as much as a stitch since. Obviously still got it.

"Sewing", ron. I thought you'd planted a few new bushes there, despite the landlord inspections...

I thought he meant he was sowing his oats like most other days.

Fair enough.

Today has been a total waste of oxygen. Still, back at therapy on Wednesday and I have some annual leave to look forward to shortly.

Mr F has rung his mum for the first time in two and a half years. He's been on the phone for twenty minutes and hasn't asked how she is yet.
