The makeover challenge. Probably Naomi's best (last?) chance to score a win before the finals. Monet and Latrice both fell into the bottom 2 on this challenge in their original seasons so may be at risk.



Feels weird that Manilla and Trinity get their partners - do they not have any friends?
 
Manila/Trinity and Monet/Monique, bottom/top 2.. not sure which it'll pan out but that's the way preview is setting it up for me..
 
Also, I'm SICK of the fake jury laughs in the runway, if you pay attention they play the same again and again. It does my head in.
 
Although that was a sickening lip sync from Naomi
 
TBH this puts Naomi at the top for me. She’s been consistent and she served two iconic lip syncs.

Trinity is just a tad bit unlikeable, Monet and Monique can both be messy and Latrice is just a joke at this point.

Finally, a strategic elimination. All this fairness/report card bollocks was getting tedious.

And I was never that impressed by Manila. Byeeeeee.
 
I'm so fucking upset. I can't even process that.

If anyone was going to keep Manila safe it would've been Naomi.

I'm really bitter about this episode. Not cool. NOT FAIR.
 
In other news, I believe that makes Latrice the ONLY queen to ever return from elimination and last for MORE than one episode.
 
Ironically, Naomi is still my top pick for winner. The only threat I can see is Trinity.

But Manila... :cry::cry::cry:
 
Naomi had one of the best ever lip syncs.

But wtf.

I suddenly don't want to watch all that much anymore. Manila was keeping this exciting.

It's Ben all over again but worse.

Naomi was totally deserving of the top this week. I also thought Manila deserved to be bottom but it should have been Trinity with her over Latrice- that outfit was lazy at best.

I also didn’t understand Visage reading Latrice for family resemblance. As busted as her Judy was (and let’s face it, she didn’t have much to work with), they totally had family resemblance.
 
I also wondered if Monet threw that lip sync on purpose...
 
I can’t get enough of watching the lip sync. What a queen! :disco:

I have always loved Naomi, but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to see her in All Stars when the cast was first revealed. It has therefore been a delight watching how much she’s grown. I’ve been so in lover with her both in and even more so out of drag. Her looks and fashion are so on point, and now the two lip syncs she’s given us has totally made her worthy of a place in the finale.
 
It’s a shame and quite unfair that Manila had to go, but I mean, imagine sending the one that had just saved you home.

Trinity is my other favourite, but I’m afraid she’s plateaued a bit. I was getting mentally prepared with a Manila win. She would have deserved it.

All of the last three should have been eliminated by now. Monet I find incredibly overrated and Monique is messy and annoying.
 
Gurl bye. It makes absolutely no sense not to have Manilla in the top 4 at least. This is the second season in a row where this happens. Just call it Drag Survivor, coz we're definitely not ending up with the best drag queen.
 
Naomi’s decision felt VERY producer-led to me. That clip of Trinity’s bad acting ”that was SHADY AS FUCK” in the next episode preview only underlined it.

I’m here for good natural drama but it really is starting to ruin the show to have everything feel so manufactured.

Big shame for Latrice too in a way. She seemed back to her old self again this week and accepted the seemingly inevitable with total grace. It could weirdly have been a very redemptive elimination, now it feels like they’re Roxxxxying her, and she’s so much better than that.
 
...If the producers did force a ’shock’ Manilla elimination on the finalists, that’d explain Monet totally throwing the lip sync too.
 
There's still enough talent left to keep me interested, but really.

I don't think it serves the show to have weaker contenders winning All Stars, and as much as I don't think Manila had it in the bag yet, her not being in the final is blatantly ludicrous. Had she got to the final and then fucked up, or another girl pulled something amazing then fair enough, but as it is, it makes everything feel a little TAWDRY to me.

Everyone might have not been happy with the final outcome of AS2, but at least the final episode (minus thick and juicy) made total sense. It's been going downhill since with them trying so hard to force those shock moments. Watch Alyssa Summers win AS5.
 
And even with Roxxxy, they had the sense to state outright that she was falling short of the other girls, dump her and focus on the deserving final three.

I know there is a sizeable cohort of fans who think Katya should have won AS2, but if you look at the stats you can't deny Alaska the win. AS3 and AS4 are a shitshow in comparison.
 
I have so many mixed feelings. Ironically Naomi sending Manilla home was ICONIC, FABULOUS and TRAGIC. Too soon, but Naomi is such a fabulous slow burner.

But my main issue was how few of the queens knew about the Judy Garland/ Stonewall connection. PLEASE!

Also the first 25 minutes were SO BORING.
 
If Naomi doesn't win this now there's no fucking point. UGH, this season was looking like it would've actually been a proper return to form.
 
I love Monet but I thought that runway looked TERRIBLE...
