Obviously singles collections are more or less done in the age of the playlist, but which artists/popstars who have never released one (or have been prolific since their last) would turn out the best GH today?

Madonna with a carefully edited GH. Since the Immaculate Collection her GHs have been lazy.

I can't think of any which would be more spectacular than Rihanna's

1. Pon de Replay
2. SOS
3. Unfaithful
4. Umbrella
5. Don't Stop The Music
6. Take a Bow
7. Disturbia
8. Russian Roulette
9. Rude Boy
10. Only Girl (In The World)
11. What's My Name
12. S&M
13. Man Down
14. Take Care (with Drake)
15. We Found Love
16. Where Have You Been
17. Diamonds
18. Stay
19. Bitch Better Have My Money
20. This Is What You Came For (with Calvin)
21. Work
22. Love On The Brain
23. Wild Thoughts (with DJ Khaled)

And that is CLASSICS ONLY!

Calvin Harris is another who has been reliably STACKING UP the hits, some of which never made a studio album

1. Acceptable in the 80s
2. The Girls
3. I'm Not Alone
4. Bounce ft. Kelis
5. Feel So Close
6. Sweet Nothing ft. Florence
7. Spectrum (Say My Name) ft. Florence
8. I Need Your Love ft. Ellie Goulding
9. Under Control ft. Alesso & Hurts
10. Summer
11. Outside ft. Ellie Goulding
12. Pray to God ft. Haim
13. How Deep Is Your Love ft. Disciplines
14. This Is What You Came For ft. Rihanna
15. My Way
16. Slide ft. Frank Ocean & Migos
17. Feels ft. Katy, Pharrell & Big Sean
18. One Kiss ft. Dua Lipa
19. Promises ft. Sam Smith
20. Giant ft. Rag'n'Bone Man

All of these songs went top 10 in the UK, 14 went top 3 :disco: my Calvin playlist is one of my most used and abused

And that's without needing to use We Found Love and Dance Wiv Me, both of which you could easily justify. And I'd bung on In My Arms and Call My Name as well.

Cheryl’s Greatest Hits EP would be reasonably good value.

1. Fight For This Love
2. 3 Words
3. Parachute
4. Promise This
5. Crazy Stupid Love
6. I Don’t Care

Deluxe Edition

7. The Flood
8. Under The Sun
9. Only Human
10. Love Made Me Do It
11. Heartbreaker

21. Music's too sad without you (W/Jack)

I know everyone is like “we don’t need ANOTHER Kylie GH” but I would love a post-2005 one.

Can they not just reissue Ultimate Kylie as a 3CD deluxe?

That is also me being sparing with songs.

Coldplay's would be good. I don't like them enough to listen to their whole albums, but they have done some absolutely brilliant singles.

sorry SWEATY but Radar needs to be a bonus track in every single Britney release until her batteries run out

I don't think even Brit remembers how Circus goes (was it a hit though? I cannot recall) and Lucky IS THERE!

US #3 thank you very much. Just missed out on UK top ten but hung around for awhile to rack up some sales

And I meant GET RID of Lucky

Anyone who thinks Britney would out-stream ANYONE in 2019 is deluded. Love the drugged up bitch but no

In the classic tradition of Greatest Hits albums that make people realise how many songs they actually know by an artist and sell well outwith industry expectation (ie Crowded House, The Beautiful South etc), I present...

NO ANGEL - The Best Of Charli XCX

Boom Clap
5 In The Morning
Nuclear Seasons
I Love It (w/ Icona Pop)
No Angel
Out Of My Head (w/ Alma and Tove Lo)
Focus
After The Afterparty (w/ Lil Yachty)
Vroom Vroom
Girls Night Out
Break The Rules
1999 (w/ Troye Sivan)
You're The One
Roll With Me
Fancy (w/ Iggy Azelea)
Boys

Lobbed in a couple of tracks from the mixtape albums. Tell me that's not a cracking CD right there.

(Japanese bonus tracks: Paradise (w/ Hannah Diamond) and Bounce - the latter would annoy the bejaysus out of her audience, which is kinda what she does)
