Eurovision Song Contest 2019 performance

Don't we have a rumour like this every year? Lady Gaga was also almost confirmed. Mind you that we had Justin, so it could be true, but why would she do this?

Hmm not sure she's ever been that strongly attached to ESC before. There's always the Glasto rumour every year but this looks fairly convincing. I'd say that if it doesn't happen then it'd be more likely due to a potential deal falling through at the last minute rather than this being a rumour. But let's see.

Why are they threatening us with this old wanker? I mean, I’ll pop out for a fag during the interval anyway but my heart will go out to the poor non-smokers who have to sit through it.

It sounds ridiculous, but where else is she going to get a performance which gets such a wide international audience? If the timing works for album promo I wouldn't be entirely surprised.

Mind you, if she has some political message to push, then what better than a massive worldwide event in Israel?

I've noticed before she loves her time references, especially on Hard Candy. It came out at a time when I had lots of university deadlines so I appreciated the constant reminders that I didn't have much time.

Madame X does not do contracts.
Madame X will not be bought.

I’m sure if they point her in the direction of Måns, she’ll sign the contract and throw in a complimentary sit-down meal.

Madame X's preferred means of communication is through high pitched whistles that only dogs can hear.
Madame X says FUCK bureaucracy

Madonna has broken her silence on her controversial Eurovision Song Contest 2019 performance, stating her refusal to stop playing music based on ‘political agenda’.

The Like A Virgin singer is expected to perform at the Eurovision final in Tel Aviv, Israel on Saturday. However, the news has been met with outrage from protestors over the Palestinian and Israeli conflict.

Addressing the controversy for the first time, Madonna told Reuters: ‘I’ll never stop playing music to suit someone’s political agenda nor will I stop speaking out against violations of human rights wherever in the world they may be. ‘My heart breaks every time I hear about the innocent lives that are lost in this region and the violence that is so often perpetuated to suit the political goals of people who benefit from this ancient conflict.’ She added: ‘I hope and pray that we will soon break free from this terrible cycle of destruction and create a new path towards peace.’

You know you got it in you, Ms Ciccone. Do something on that stage :disco:

Well she won’t need a sound check if her last performance was anything to go by :side-eye:

So it looks like she's rehearsing for this. Has she landed in Israel yet?
