Saturday says Thank you and Goodnight

Oh give it a few years and they will be back again. They always are...

MORNING

I’ve got a bit of a hangover after going out for emergency dinner with Mr Sheena as our flat is a bathroom renovation induced DISASTER area and then coming home and sinking quite a lot of Amaretto whilst listening to Sheena Easton records amongst the rubble. HAPPY DAYS.

I’m just about to go to the gym to burn it all off though :disco:

Ours took months to compete because the guy would literally put up one tile a day.

Yesterday we went car shopping (RIP Flipper :( ) and the man only spoke to Mr Star, barely looked me in the eyes. He obviously doesn't realise who controls the finances in an Asian family...

I hope that his showroom was scratched off your purchase list immediately!

All the times we went car perusing the salesmen would talk to Mr F first, then he'd inform them that he was only the hired muscle and they should direct all further enquiries to the boss. The only one that spoke to me first was the one at the Vauxhall garage where we got Lickle Red, I was pretty sure we'd spoken to him several years before when I was out looking for Big Red so I gave him bonus points for having such a good memory then I went and ruined it all by saying I didn't care what the car was as long as it was red, looked like a boy-racer car and accelerated like sh*t off a shovel. I did redeem myself a bit when we started talking about specs though (not glasses).

Long lie interrupted by the couple next door having noisy sex. She sounds positively triumphant so fair enough really.

Mr F's at work today and the dog's got itchy ears again so he's had an antihistamine and is proper dopey. I used the opportunity of a quiet, calm house and a dopey dog to spend twenty minutes cleaning out the dog's ears with an assortment of wipes and cottonbuds before putting his medicine in. I swear if he was a cat he'd have been purring when I was right in there with the cottonbuds (I suppose they reach the parts he can't scratch himself with his giant paws), I've never known a dog who loved having things stuck down their ears but Ridley does and I love cleaning ears out with cottonbuds, spot-squeezing and suchlike so we're a match made in heaven. He won't let me brush his coat but he'll sit there happily for an hour while Mr F does it yet he won't let Mr F anywhere near if he tries to clean his ears out.

There's some berk who lives in Lancashire who thinks my e-mail address is his. Every few months i get through some important documents.

This time i've now got his home address, account number and sort code. I could easily fleece the fucker for all he's got. I could also have gone on holiday in his place recently.

I'm watching this support act and thinking I've probably got GCSEs older than him.
