I was daydreaming about building a little countryside retreat out of shipping containers last night. I am craving some quiet outdoorsyness.
 
One of my clients has dumped a ton more work and money on me which is great, but fuck I am busy, I've already been working for a few hours today. It's fine this week, I had a healthy and wholesome weekend, but what happens when I get smashed next weekend and the following days are a right off? Being a grownup is shit.

Spent two hours in a waiting room at the eye clinic with Mr F today so they could go through his MRI results. They put the eye drops in, Doctor looked in his eyes then said next appointment will be in two months and they'll go through the results then because nobody's looked at the scans yet. He was in the examination room less than two minutes. What an absolute waste of time.
 
Yeah, I get this as well - the MRI happens, I get a letter saying it's just about OK, then 5 months later I go to an appointment where someone looks at them and comes to a different conclusion from the last person. :manson:
 
We haven't even had a letter saying whether it's OK or not so are just assuming it's OK until told otherwise. His last appointment was a month ago on a Monday and the opthalmologist doctor lady was confused that she hadn't had his scan results yet and was surprised to learn that the scan wasn't being done until the Saturday after her appointment so that was another wasted visit and they then sent him today's one. It's like every department in the hospital operates individually from all the other departments and none of them tell the others what they're doing or when they're doing it. I'd assume that if she asked for a specific MRI scan to be done that the MRI department would inform the requesting department when the scan was booked so that they could arrange the appointments after it. Or maybe that's too much like common sense.

Sounds right to me. I found this, especially during 2016/17; no-one spoke to each other, it was somehow up to me to gather all the information for the various departments, reach a reasoned conclusion and present this to right practitioner - which was, of course, none of them so I got passed around like a porn mag in a prison.
 
I've been that productive today I've not even had time for a wank.
 
I popped out a 2 minute necessity wank about an hour ago, NOW YOU MENTION IT

South Glos haven't been as rabid as Bristol in that respect.

Doesn't look like they are maintaining it, mind you. Wouldn't be altogether surprised if they were letting it run down just to justify closing it.

It's in a bit of an odd place really, isn't it? I wonder how many people use it for any purpose other than cottaging!

It used to be a RIGHT TREAT back in the day- gloryhole, 24 hours, absolute FILTH, but then they closed half of it off and it died a death. Last time I went on a Bristol visit, it was closed so I presumed that was the end of it- but Squirt suggests it might have PERKED UP :disco:
 
I was hoping nobody was awake for this, I was messing around with some banner designs. I just liked the font, nobody's died!
