Yes I'm bringing it back.

Good morning! I'm on a train to Dundee, because despite it only being 90 minutes away I've never been before :o Going to see the V&A, have a wander and then have an utterly unnecessary overnight stay in a hotel. Hoping a change of scenery does me good!
 
Did a couple of gigs in Dundee back in the day, they were awright.
 
Oh I went to University in Dundee, but haven't been back to see the V&A - have fun!

I'd also recommend Broughty Ferry for a nice walk along the beach (weather permitting, of course) and/or a walk up the Dundee Law for a great view of the city (it's a bit rough to get there though)
 
My friend suggested Broughty Ferry too :D I think I'll hop off the train there on my way home tomorrow.
 
the family summer holidays will be spent in Scotland this year! Dundee not part of the itinerary though

Brought Ferry is beautiful. I am heading out that way on Wednesday to look at property.

I never knew that Dundee us supposedly the Brighton of the North. Fancy that.
 
Or perhaps Brighton is the Dundee of the South.
 
I had a lovely day prancing around the stone circles in Avebury yesterday, and then went on to Marlborough. I don't recall ever being anywhere so dripping with privilege.

I was shocked! Is there another gallery that hasn't opened yet, or is that it? I spent longer taking photos of the exterior than looking at the exhibits :o

Get yourself over to the McManus galleries it’s at the top of reform street (which is about a 5/10 minute walk from the V&A)
 
I had to look up simnel cake. I assumed it wasn't really a cake but it turns out otherwise.
 
Also, if the cunt downstairs doesn't stop drilling in the next half an hour, I'm going to go down there and knack him one.
 
Dude seems to have stopped as soon as I posted the above. How strange...
 
Well, he's started up again but he's only making intermittent brief noises so it sounds like he's near the end of the job. Bumped into him in the stairwell last week; grumpy sod.
 
I've just had a nap. I don't feel much better. Don't drink rum and take coke kids.
 
I should really go for a nap. I feel like a toddler fighting sleep.
 
Not napping as I have the early shift at work next week and I need to be kinda ship-shape. Of course, by the time I actually go to bed, I'll probably have got my second wind.
