We have a colleague who is fast becoming our equivalent of Droopy Drawers. Moans constantly, even when there's nothing to moan about. If she's short of material, she makes an assumption about how you're feeling which somehow relates to her and rides it for half-an-hour or so.

I've got the week off and I have NO IDEA what to do with it.

I'm tempted to OFFICIALLY COMPLAIN about the CULTURE OF MOANING in my office, as IRONIC as that may sound

I've spent the morning so far tidying things away into the new bathroom storage area, doing washing and generally tidying up. I feel quite PLEASED with myself.

Good Morning Moopy.

I have a poorly son off school today. Poor lamb.

Poor Baby Dannii is just going to be getting Baby Kylie's seconds, I've literally bought nothing for him/her :(

Let's say that the people in a specific department keep doing their job wrong. Do you:-

a) make the people who were doing it right all along change the way they do their jobs, in spite of the fact that the new policy takes longer and introduces a new way that thing could get screwed up

or

b) fire the entire other department and replace them with people who aren't morons.

If you chose option a, you could be senior management at my company.

I did choose option a, but that's because I wanted to be contrary. Can I have the job please?

It depends. May I have a large pay increase?

Should have made that 3 posts.

Didn't.

Oh well.

Made up for it anyway.

I am an innovator.

Ta ra.

Oh, I had this years ago. It basically involved us having to take on a task ofr another area because they were too shit at it. They then decided we couldn't have the system access required to do it and complained that we took too long because we had to manually duplicate the other department's work...which we had to do because they wouldn't give us the systems access.

Unfuckingreal.

Savoury pancake: Blue cheese, crispy fried ham and BBQ pecan sauce
Sweet pancake: A fuck off huge dollop of Cadbury's Caramel spread

I win.

I had new fencing put in the back garden today. Office lady kept going on about why I'd paid £100 for a local fencing company to do it when the panels were less than £20 each so I was paying them £50 to put them in and she thought it was extortionate as it's only fifteen minutes work. To buy the panels myself and get them delivered I'd have had to have spent £100 minimum or they wouldn't deliver them then I'd have had to put them in myself so I was happy because some bugger else was doing it.

I prefer the sound of your savoury, but I'll very much stick to my sweet.

In fact I think I'll crumble a digestive over it and it will practically be a lemon cheesecake pancake.

Actually, I may as well just chuck the pancake away and have a lemon cheesecake.

No pancakes for me today. Had a scone just to be awkward.

Was nice tho'.

I didn’t make pancakes as I now have two ill children and even looking at them would add a stone to my arse and we are heading back in to bikini season.

I'm not that fussed about savoury pancakes but I had chorizo, pine nuts, goats cheese and rocket drizzled with honey, and it was fucking lovely.
