Spice Girls - Various Tat 2025

Research reveals that 52.7% of Baby McBunton’s followers are perverts hoping for nudes of the children and most of the others clicked the wrong button, apparently hoping for something about clogs and cardigans :(

*@VoR rolls eyes and tuts :tongueout:*

When did she start appearing on daytime tv doing arts & crafts with her daughter?

WHY? :zombie:

oh no :(

Emma Bunton responds to whether the Spice Girls will perform solo material on their reunion tour
Each of the Spice Girls notched up mutiple hits in the early 2000s.

Emma Bunton has revealed whether the Spice Girls will perform their solo material on their upcoming tour - and it's not great news for solo Spice fans.

Discussing the upcoming tour, which kicks off in May, on Graham Norton's show on BBC Radio 2, Emma said: "At the moment we're in the middle of creating the show. I was literally with Geri in her kitchen yesterday and it's so lovely because we get to do the setlist and what we want to do for [the] songs."

On whether each member will perform their solo material during the show, she admitted: "I'm not sure there's going to be enough room for solo stuff. Oh no, they're going to go mad at me."

Graham suggested one extended solo medley, with each Spice Girl stepping up to perform a section of their biggest solo hit, though Emma seemed reluctant.

Fans who went to the group's 2007 reunion tour may remember that each member performed a solo track. Emma sang Maybe, Geri went for It's Raining Men, Mel C performed I Turn To You, Mel B sang for Are You Gonna Go My Way, and Victoria opted to put on a catwalk show instead, strutting her stuff to Madonna's Like A Virgin and Rupaul's Supermodel (You Better Work). :disco:

Asked if the group were planning to release new music in line with the tour, she said: "No, that's not happening. We're so busy with the tour. There's other things going on - the animation is looking very exciting, which we're all working on together. Mind you, they take years, don't they?"

More Spice trivia for fans: Emma also revealed during the interview that Let Love Lead The Way - from their Forever album - is her favourite Spice album track :poo:o_O O_o o.O O.o. It was technically a single as a double A-side with 2000's Holler, but we'll let her have it.

"It's a point when I worked with the producer and I really was able to sing out," she said, "It feels like a strong song that I vocally worked quite hard on."

The Spice Girls' reunion tour kicks off in Dublin on May 24 and runs for 13 shows, finishing with three nights at London's Wembley Stadium.

Look, I’m sure no one will be selling their ticket because I Want Candy isn’t on the setlist but I’d quite like What Took You So Long to make the cut

Also did Emma forget all about Let Love Lead the Way being a single?

Maybe she was getting confused with that and Time Goes By or Oxygen :D

Let Love Lead The Way IS a good pick. I can only imagine how much some Geru vox will enhance it on the tour.

Let Love Lead The Way is a GRAND moment. Emma’s parts are particularly amazing.

I know, I know, I know oh ooohh

based on what they released as singles that could fit under the ballads/SULTRY gems tag I would rate

1. 2 Become 1
2. Viva Forever
3. Goodbye
4. Too Much

5. Headlines
6. Let Love Lead The Way

Needless to say, I don't know if Mama is a heartfelt ACOUSTIC Jam or a Midtempo Sing-a-Long Stomper

1. Viva Forever - untouchable, nothing comes close to its beauty
2. 2 Become 1
3. Goodbye
4. Let Love Lead The Way
5. Too Much

6. I Don't Know Her

^ I agree.

I wouldn’t rank LLTW in their top ballads, but that’s mainly because it’s such a high benchmark.

By any other standard it’s a good song. Not a great fit for Menly, admittedly, but only really because she was totally phoning it in on Forever.

I think the others sound great on it. It’s basically a song of ad-libs and all the better for it.

Given all of the songs are going to be rearranged to some extent as a four-piece, hopefully that means they won’t omit Geru this time around. I mean, I genuinely think seeing her attempt Holler would be worth the admission price alone.

"Goodbye" is so good, especially that big finale -

Look for the rainbow in every storm
Find out for certain
Love's gonna be there for you
You'll always be someone's baby

GOOOBYEEEEEEEEEEEE MY FRIIIIIIIEEEEENDDDDDDD

wrong WRONG. If Geri had not left she wouldn't have let them release such a drab song. but then again, she wrote Headlines

what I find jarring is the chorus which is basically just sung by Emma while Menly does some ott ad libs but leaves me wondering where the fuck is Mel B and Victoria?
But then again, any SG connoisseur knows the whole Forever album (especially the final product) was PHONED in and a lot of songs consist of a sole girl doing the chorus with no trace of the rest.

Holler - Mel Beh
LLTW - Emma
Tell Me Why - Mel B with Emma doing the OH WHY bits
Wasting My Time - Mel C
If you wanna have some fun - Victoria (with Emma doing the ad libs)
Get Down With Me - Mel B again and absolutely no trace of Menly

Mel B’s ad libs on the album version of Let Love Lead The Way have always been my favourite bit of the song

Aaaa cry
Aaa do aaaa do
Aaa yeah
...
A lurve ya :side-eye:

We were socially engineered to hate Forever because it was such a marked departure from what came before it. But we shouldn't throw the baby out with the bathwater and you know that if LLTW was on Spiceworld it would be REVERED.

(And don't pretend it couldn't have been - their saccharine ballads were ALL much of a muchness, apart from Headlines)

I’d keep Holler and all the ballads from Forever. That’s about it - but 6/11 isn’t a bad strike rate.

Forever is OK if you take it as a turn of the century r&b/pop album.

But as an album by the fucking Spice Girls? Talk about faceless, watered down rubbish.

LOVE IT.

Time Goes By is the REAL TURD along Weekend Love and that anaemic tinny version of Right Back At Ya.

I still believe they genuinely liked that song and wanted it to use as some sort of statement and perhaps even release it as a single (if any of the girls could be arsed for more than 5 minutes like it turned out) and really fought with the label for it to be in the album. Shame it had to be remixed in order to fit with the album's aesthetic :(

Holler, If You Wanna Have Some Fun and Let Love Lead The Way are my keepers from Forever.

The rest can get in the bin.

I really do love If You Wanna Have Some Fun though. It's the only one that sounds like classic Spice Girls.

WINK WINK
NUDGE NUDGE

Oxygen is OK. It;s got the square root of fuck all against "Viva Forever" tho'.
