MORNING!

6K run done by 6:30, some Joyce Sims on the car radiogram and now sat at my desk contemplating suicide.

HAPPY THURSDAY LOVES!

Tempted to fuck today off for something more fun. I am FUCKED.

The universe obviously feeling my vibe as my inboxes are empty so I'm pursuing fun things instead and I've just spunked some money

This insomnia is an utter bitch. Still, at least I'm up. Going to go for a walk today. That's the peak of my ambition right now.

My friends asked me to get ordained so I can marry her :D

I have no idea how difficult it is to do that and feel a bit bad saying no

We need the pope emoji back for times like these

As I'm one step closer to Godliness than most of the filth here, I feel I perhaps ought to volunteer :lolly:

Do you like people KISSING YOUR RING? If so you could be in the running for the NEXT POPE

If it’s in the UK and it’s for a proper wedding, not just a “celebration”, it’s not possible.

We fancied giving OLD ELLEN a whirl but sadly not.

If I do it, can I get my username changed to Minister SDF

I've been doing some origami and now I've got poundshop super glue on my hands. I might have lost a finger or two

My friend married us (Ms Ron had a dream he married us on a beach in Ibiza with 10 bridesmaids so we made that shit come true) - but it wasn't legal. We did the registry office to make it official later. It was still fun. I'd retract your no and go for it, it was amazing having someone you know and love marrying you.

I've got a friend who did the exact same thing. The cheapest, briefest registry office do to make it legal, and then had another friend do the service they had in a marquee in the grounds of a stately pile overlooking the sea in Cornwall, which they very much viewed as the actual wedding.

And undoubtedly one of the loveliest weddings I've ever been to. And probably will ever go to, now I'm at the stage where it's more funerals than weddings :D

I think I prefer funerals to weddings anyway you know. At least nobody expects you to be jolly.

I’ve always enjoyed a funeral, for what they are. It’s often a time to see people you haven’t seen for a long time and a good old reminisce. Which I suppose is the point...

We left our registry to 2 years after the original wedding, and we just went to the registry office in Manchester, invited a load of mates and went for a meal/pissup after. We hadn't picked a registrar or ceremony beforehand, so ended up with some camp old queen who read a poem that was really weird and hilarious and it turned out to be fucking amazing and we had an amazing second big day that was stress free.

I've always told people to give as little a shit about a wedding ever since, I've done the big stressy day and it was lovely, but a logisticall ballache, you just spend the day worrying. Beaches and registry offices are much more fun.

Would I LIKE to go on a trip to NOTTINGHAM with MADAM next month? Well if there's an OPTION of saying NO I'm going to say NO *joins the DUP*

A pal sent me on his download codes for a couple of David Sylvian remasters. Nice thought, loving the music. It always annoys me that I missed records like this as they were happening. I blame my minuscule school-years budget.

Whilst copying all the stuff off my laptop I discovered that spawn's ex-boyfriend had put 148gb of music in it. I knew it was a lot when he put it on but was shocked it was nearly 36000 files. I'm going to have to buy a 500gb hard-drive now.

I've just been on the phone to my mother and apparently at my father's 70th birthday do everyone is going to have to CHANGE PLACES between courses. She claims this is a WELL-KNOWN THING but I've never heard of it although let's face it I DON'T GET OUT MUCH. It sounds like a right FAFF to me. Have you ever come across such CARRYING ON?

Anything decent?

It just seems to be a mishmash of all kinds of things. There are weekly top 40s from January to August 2009, Now1 to Now73, Clublands 1 to 15, Dance albums and then everything else is arranged alphabetically in Artists. Never heard of a lot of them but there's no Nurse With Wound on there, I just checked. :D

Edit: original creation date of the file was 2009 which explains the top 40s.

The only reason I have ever encountered for anything similar was due to the presence of a guest who simply HAD to be invited but with whom no-one wanted to be stuck for the whole meal. This was due to what we'll politely call "hygiene issues" but could also be phrased as "he stank of piss".

I forced it at my last work do, but only because the person I can't STAND ended up sitting next to me in the original free-for-all sit down...

I’m not sure either answer above would fill me with much confidence that I’m wanted at said birthday party :D
