Thought I'd beat the queues by arriving at the tip* at ten to nine this morning, assumed it'd be empty but it was packed and I still had to queue. I was only taking an old dog bed and wished I'd fly-tipped it on the park instead after questioning from a toothless refuse-worker as to why I was putting it in the non-recyclable section for incineration. He thought it should go in the fabrics for recycling receptacle (which meant driving out of the tip, queuing to get back in and stopping near the entrance) but it absolutely stank and I'm holding it out to him going "Smell it! Smell it! Trust me, you'll puke! Smell it, it stinks!". By the final "smell it!" I was almost ultrasonic and doing my best not to gag. He let me put it in the non-recyclables.
