Morning.

Good kip that.

I do have a pal running the marathon today. He'd better finish, I've given him £26 on that basis...

I can now see how depressing travel writing can be, without ever visiting.

I’m in a cat cafe for a friends birthday present

Feeling like I’m channelling my inner @Rachey

What on earth is a cat cafe when it’s at home? A place for strays to earn a crust?

I have just had a phone call from my friend asking if she can get a taxi up here for a few wines.

See you on Wednesday Moopy. :zombie:

There's one in Glasgow, on the Trongate. It's a cafe with loads of cats in it. Doesn't feel like that much of a hook but it's really popular. I assume the food health inspectors are in it all the time.

Even as a cat lover, I don't really get it. But perhaps they are popular with people who don't have cats for whatever reason. We've got a cat cafe and a cat pub.

I've not been to the cafe, but I have to the pub. It stinks.

It has a lot to do with the numbers of people who are renting as opposed to buying. "No pets" is a common clause in the agreement. So things like this are cropping up to fill that gap, I suppose.

The cat cafe was really clean and I couldn’t smell cat at all.

Most of them were sleeping except the hairless one :D

I couldn't think of many worse things than a room full of cats.

Maybe a room full of zombies. Or cannibals. But those things are less likely and not openly advertised.

I went to a cat cafe once and they were so uncooperative.

OT: I occasionally forget how brilliant Mudhoney could be. Reminding myself. Major rock-out vibes for a Sunday.

The only time I went to one, when it came time to leave, they opened the door, I just stood there for 10 seconds or so and then sat back down again. See how they like it.

I'm fairly sure at ours you have to book in advance, you can't just walk in off the street. And although it's central, it's down a relatively quiet side street with little footfall. So I assume it's doing pretty well.

I am legit so happy. Writing work sent off.

This is despite finding Mr Ag is away for 3 days next weekend and cat is staying elsewhere tonight.

Miss Elodie Chauve I presume? :disco: She couldn't keep herself off my shoulder when I visited, she's my favourite.

She was certainly sassy :disco:

Did you see Sebastian? He was the British short hair golden hair cat. I wanted to steal him.
