Beautiful men of Monday

I don't know about anyone else but this is one of the worst days of the year to go into work, post-Eurovision. They know I love it but I refuse to bring it up today - the responses from everyone are going to be the usual frustrating, misinformed bullshit.

I'm expecting a sea of "it woz Brexit" comments and I'm going to walk away and make a cup of tea and ignore it. I hate them all.
 
Yes, I'll get it as well. Assumption that I'll be GUTTED because the UK came last.

Please don't sully the beautiful contest by comparing it to some football game event.

I see MADAM hasn't been SUITABLY REFRESHED to come in on TIME after her holiday

I expect she found it all very TIRING and is now a bit ACHEY so she's got to sit at home and go through every single EMAIL I sent out last week with a FINE TOOTH COMB so she can PUT ME RIGHT later on EXACTLY EVERYTHING I've DONE WRONG :rolleyes:

No Eurovision chat in here. But then, there's not really any chat at all. Holiday season has kicked in, y'see. All the people with no kids are taking early hols; I've got a week off myself in a fortnight.

I think some people are assuming that "taken aback" and "stunned" are positive statements...
 
I'm still thrilled about Saturday night.

I might still be drunk too, I really can't take my liquor these days.

The worst thing for me was when I came back from Copenhagen close to dying of alcohol poisoning, hating the world and everyone in it, and then had to tell everyone how Eurovision had been for the next week.
 
I smoked on Saturday and now I sound like Marge Simpson and have a massive ulcer on my tongue. ALRIGHT MOUTH, get over yourself. :evil:
 
I didn't even mention that song contest but of course it came up and was a resounding chorus of the usual. Being presented with evidence to the contrary apparently doesn't count. I was actually being shouted at at one point.

Today has been horrible anyway. I need a job with no human contact :D
 
There are NO beautiful men on Mondays, at least in the morning. I actually bumped into my current crush in the metro on my way to work and found him very average.
 
I sat next to a fine red headed man on the bus home today. I've been all a quiver ever since.
 
Not a single person mentioned Eurovision at work on Monday considering it was the morning of the GOT finale!!!
