LOL at the quote for changing the office lighting I just saw

YEAH WELL MAYBE WE DON'T NEED FUCKING PIRS EVERYWHERE FOR NO APPARENT REASON

Honestly some people just need to be taken outside and SHAKEN. Or SHOT.

Oh Moopy HELP. My dog has been rolling in SHIT and it has made me physically VOMIT. I have thrown buckets of water, and got the hose out but I can not touch her. I have booked her in to the local dog groomers for 2pm. That will teach her. :zombie:

She is banished from inside the house until that smell is GONE.

Aw. Poor doggo. She doesn't know why she's been banished :(

The smell was making me sick. Although she is not at all happy at going in for a shampoo and blow dry either. WHATS A GIRL TO DO?

That actually reminded me of when she was a younger dog (she is 11 now) and was running through an EMPTY field and the landowner came out and started chasing her. I shouted to the dog and she came to me, and he started shouting in my face how he was going to shoot her AND ME. No gun was present so I swiftly slapped the horrible pig hard in the face until the red mist has cleared and he apologised profusely. I’m very protective of my dog, she is my third child. I just don’t like her very much when she does doggy things like rolling in shit or dead animals.

Walking along the river footpath home. It's ROWING SEASON AGAIN :horny:

I had a community day at work today. I’ve got that been out in the sun feeling on my face. I’ll be Ariana Grande in no time :disco:

Evening all. Weird day in the office - redundancies being announced. My area is actually expanding so I'm OK personally but it's still all a bit grim. I saw it coming but a few people seemed surprised.

I'd taken an impromptu day off work to do some gardening and forgot that today was my dad's appointment at the hospital, I thought it was tomorrow. My mum rang me at 11 o'clock and it wasn't good news so I've basically spent the day in a daze reading information on the internet that I'd rather have stayed blissfully unaware of. Not sure how I managed to drive to my mum's and back this afternoon without totalling the car, I don't remember ever being this distracted. I was going to post about it somewhere else but didn't want to piss all over Suomi's happy news.

Plans for the evening are to go upstairs, smoke a big fattie and immerse myself in Schitt's Creek till I fall asleep. Tomorrow's another day.

Floppet I am always here if you need to talk.

I hate to ask the obvious but what was the news?

:( Sorry to hear that

If any telly can help distract your mind it's definitely going to be Schitts Creek x

Oh god floppet you're so sweet, you didn't need to do that. I hope you're okay

We were expecting a diagnosis of Alzheimer's or Vascular Dementia. He has both and his temporal and parietal (?) lobes are both significantly shrunk. The shock was the prognosis of 6-8 years from onset so they said maybe 2-4 years at best but the tablets they're giving him probably won't slow it much, if at all but they'll give them a go, because he's quite far gone.

:(

There are a few nootropics that are supposed to be quite good when it comes to NGDs like Alzheimer's, let me know if you want me to consult big ron's pharmacopoeia of things you can't get on the nhs.

Thanks ron but he wouldn't take it. Several years ago he was having trouble with appetite, I suggested a weak one to just give him the munchies but he refused every time.

Sounds an awful lot like my mother.

Yay, family.
