Bank Holiday Monday Monday

Full day in the office here. Slept like an itchy hostage as well. :(
 
I was really itchy last night too but then I got a little sunburn, despite the factor 50, after doing a 25km bike ride around the Hungarian countryside yesterday.
 
I am sitting outside with my hair scraped back, with not a scrap of make up eating toast and cheese, drinking a macchiato with a deck of 20 cigarettes generally not giving a fuck.

We are all allowed an off day darlings.

Internet says it's American but I'm not sure I believe It.

I make it all the time when I've got old bananas that need eating up.
 
I tried to something with some old bananas the other week with brown sugar in a frying pan. I thought it was disgusting, Mr Ag loved them.

I freeze them and make a healthy ice cream with frozen bananas and cocoa in the blender. But I'm so trying banana bread. It's not my favourite fruit, but I love anything with that flavour. We don't have banana custard or jam here, shame.
 
Mmmm, banana bread. I mean, it's bananas (tasty but weird in the mouth) baked in with some bread (mmmmmmmmmmmmmm). You cannot go wrong.

I'd have happily cancelled the bank holiday today and shifted it on a month or two. Kind of over them with that late Easter.
 
I've literally just spent £200 on vinyl in various Budapest shops.

@lolly - There was a load of Abba related stuff from various parts of the Eastern bloc but my phone died here and I'm on a temporary one with no numbers and you weren't online here, so I didn't bother as most were between £5-£7ish. Anyhoo, let Mr Lolly know...
 
All sorts of Eastern European tat, including the collected works of CC Catch, some B52s, Kate Bush and even the Weather Girls. Also, who knew the Pet Shop Boys' Actually doesn't have same iconic cover in the eastern bloc? Well I do now.

I also appear to have spent nearly £10 on a 12" Disco Remix of the Dallas theme. I just couldn't say no.

Much more, but far too much to list here. Now to get it onto the plane :disco:

Bless you. I've been out without him so wouldn't have been able to remember what he's got. Well to be honest neither can he without checking most of the time. I know he's got a lot of stuff on the Hungarian Pepita label though. I've got him a lot of stuff (not that he knows it yet) from Yugoslavia on some label which is three initials that I hadn't heard of before, and a few things on Balet from Turkey. There certainly are quite a few gaps there, though. And I know there's quite a lot on Balkaton from Bulgaria he's missing as well.

Loads of Bulgarian stuff there- grabbed a fair few myself, albeit of different artistes. I'm sure I'll be back soon enough anyway...
