Hi. Didn't fall asleep until 4am because of weed. Not sure how that works. Tired.
 
I missed the bus this morning so had to wait for the next one

And then I missed the tram so had to wait for the next one

I'm having a haircut today.

Not news for most of you but this is my first haircut since 2013. Seriously. it has been almost 6 years since another human has played any part in this and I;m actually a bit nervy.

Wow, that is a LONG time. What are you getting done? I take it you have no bother with the pesky greys, or do you DIY dye?

I DIY dye - I am very grey. It's on my father's side - his hair was white by the time he was 35. I'm going to a place in town that was recommended for people with "problem" hair and who see loads of trans folk. I;ve been putting this off for about a year and a half and the situation has become ridiculous.

I also slept badly last night and I don't know why because today looks to be LESS stressful at work than normal

Yeah well maybe that's funny if you're a MILLIONAIRE and can just RETIRE to your bed of WARM £50 NOTES on a WHIM, but not so AMUSING to SOME OF US who are going to have a lot of DIFFICULTY finding alternative employment at this point in their lives :manson:
 
I have been having back trouble for quite some time now, and after months of going to a Chiropractor it seems to have flared up horrendously over the last few days. I have a herniated disc and have to go for a bloody discectomy. As if that isn’t bad enough I have been told I can not wear heels until after the op and my back has healed. :(

You may discover a hitherto unknown side to yourself.
 
That was ace. I actually wore my hair down when I went shopping afterwards, which I haven't had the confidence to do for ages. I've definitely found the right place to go as well; wee private booth rather than one of those open-plan salons that give me the fear.

No pics cos my face is still a mess fro yesterday's electrolysis appointment but hey. You'll cope Moopy, won't you?

Aye, you'll need to give that a good 4 to 6 weeks, I believe. Downer but at least once it's done, it's done.
 
Good luck with the discectomy @Rita . Mr F was walking the same day and home the day after he had one done.

You never know, it might make you love crocs :D

I have a load of pretty flats, but as you well know Kate we can never have too many shoes. If we ever get decent weather then I have a load of lush sandals as long as they are allowed. He looked down at my feet and said “these are out of bounds for the foreseeable”. I could have cried, and things went from bad to worse when he said I couldn’t even wear a wedge. :(
 
I would love to be a woman just for the shoes. I have the legs for it, even if they are a bit hairy.
 
We still haven't moved office. I think it was originally supposed to happen in FEBRUARY. Apparently on Thursday they're coming to TAKE UP THE CARPETS. JUST SACK THE LOT AND PUT ME IN CHARGE
 
Well another afternoon in A&E with severe abdominal pain. Left with co-codamol.
