I dropped my keys down the LIFT SHAFT at work last week with no way to get them back or so I thought. The CEO just threw them to me without explanation.
 
Your employer has slaves. They live in the lift-shafts. There's no other rational explanation.
 
Hello moopy. I am feeling rather out of it on medication I have been placed on for my back. At least the pain has subsided.

Amitriptyline is SHIT. I was on it to stop me itching at night. It's also used as an anti-depressant (in much higher doses) and made me feel FUCKING DREADFUL in the morning. I abandoned it quickly. Not after I'd stockpiled a fair few for comedown sleep purposes, mind. I'm surprised it's used as a painkiller.

Get on the Zapain. Now THEY'RE fun.

I was told it was to treat the nerve pain.That and codeine seems to have helped for now. I don’t feel quite with it though. Very strange sensation. I will take it over the stabbing back pain though.

No I have to try this first. He did mention trying something else if this doesn’t make it subside but I was just glad to get out the door and quaff the meds to relieve it slightly. I am getting the op on the 17th, so I shall plod along until then.
 
Well, I felt completely shit so I just went back to bed. Got up again at 3. Lazyitis or self-care? You decide.
 
Amitriptyline is also a sedative, so no wonder it made you feel shite in the morning Shee. I found it an absolute cunt to get off.

Pregabalin is now controlled, so I assume they would try other meds before going there. One surgery I work at every patient on it is being reviewed, and the majority being taken off it.

My mate was in prison and they were very popular there as they didnt show up on tests

Pregabalin? Prison is where a lot of the people I see were started on it. It was pretty freely prescribed going back a few years. I think now it's pretty much only prescribed for neuropathic pain, and then probably not as the go to drug.

The drug screens I do (urine and mouth swabs) don't test for it, but I know that for any death before coroner's court, it's part of the toxicology request. I forget the exact figure, but I'm sure it was implicated in over 80% of drug overdoses. Apparently it potentiates the effects of opiates, so you can see the appeal. I've had clients who have told me that if they are only using methadone (without on top heroin use), combining it with pregabalin gives them a 'hit' feeling which methadone itself doesn't.
