"Dark Ballet" thread

I like it!

Parts of the vocals are the same tune as Spanish Lesson which is A BIT off-putting but otherwise it's interesting and actually a bit experimental.

It’s sounding better in the context of more songs, for sure. I properly love my top three now, by the way, with the number two the biggest surprise:

1. Dark Ballet
2. Crave
3. Medellín
4. I Rise
5. Future
 
It’s not bad. I like the breakdown and the spoken part.

Yeah, I think the song is an almost total failure, but I’d rather see her fail this way, than doing generic trend-chasing drek.

I actually quite enjoyed this. It's not really a SONG but I wasn't bored whilst listening. Might be the most decent thing I've heard so far from this album.
 
I might relabel it “Dark Ballet (not for me)” because it is NOT IT, SIS

I like the Fruit & Nut suite just for shits and giggles, the spoken word bit was one of the better parts of the Eurovision nerf, so I was pleased to see it came from this, including bits from the video.

I’ll listen to the album because it’s her, but pfff I’m not psyched at the moment
 
I like Future as well now aside from the awful Quavo. Crave is still boring and she sounds like a thousand bees stung her tongue.

I had posting priveleges revoked in there, because I don't subscribe to the "OMG YAAAAASSSS MY QUEEN" kind of thinking. I still go in and shake my head at the stuff I see in there though.

Another gem I spotted in there today was:

I must say I’m liking your level of DISCERNMENT (but then we’re both of a certain age so we can compare and contrast with the glittering, glorious halcyon years in mind) :disco:
