It’s Edinburgh Pride today loves

I was out last night, I’m not looking my best. But we’ll all be in a dark club by 4pm so what does it matter :disco:

What are you all up to today?
 
It's Portsmouth Pride as well. Organised with the march to start at 9am and event to finish at 7pm as the council don't want trouble. So encouraging everyone to start drinking in the morning and carry it on all day isn't going to leave a whole load of AWFUL everywhere you look this afternoon?

It also took every bit of strength of will to resist the internalised homophobia that wanted me to snort at the two twentysomething rubbish gays holding hands, one easily 20 stone, the other about 7 stone, both wearing green glittered hot pants and blowing whistles as I came back from the gym...
 
I think I'm going to go to Brighton Pride after all. No idea when Bristol actually is...
 
When I was driving Mr F to work this morning I mentioned how tight my chest was and I was finding it difficult to breathe so took an antihistamine when I got back in case it was hay fever. An hour later I stupidly decided to take the dog to the fields nearby for his walk. By the time I walked off the Moss I had tears streaming down my face, snot oozing from my nose and barely able to breathe despite having four goes on my inhaler. I must've looked a right state. Sat here now calling myself an idiot. Never mind, the dog enjoyed it :D
 
Glasgow Pride is a wee bit earlier than usual, July 20th. The previous organisers were leaving it until August because they were in the pockets of the council but now that they've been patched, Glasgow seems to be drifting broadly into line.

Giving serious consideration to marching; I've never done it before but the current climate is such that, well, sometimes things have to be done.

I'd agree as well

It wasn't really until my 40s that I started feeling comfortable saying NO though. And what an utter fucking joy that is.
 
I look back on my 20’s and cringe at quite a lot. My 30’s were better, but I think I feel really comfortable where I am now. If only I could stay this age forever.
 
Age is weird. I was sad and distant in my twenties, angry and drunk in my 30's and got it together in my 40's. But I still don't feel like I really know anything. Adulting is basically faking it successfully, as far as I can make out.

Really dull question, but if I wanted to send a parcel via royal mail that's £2.90, can I put 5 x 2nd class stamps on? (0.58 x 5 = £2.90)
 
I have been out in the sun today and it's fucking lovely. This was despite an aborted attempt to leave the house this morning when I got to the end of the road and realised I was x100 more hungover than I realised.

Honestly I have no idea. There didn't seem to be much CLAMOUR for a revitalised WORD GAME over Christmas. I'm also really quite busy these days. If a significant amount of people want to play I'm sure I could RUSTLE something up.
 
Okay, so it's the first Saturday evening of summer, but am I the only one in?

I've just bought a carton (:side-eye:) of Tesco sangria and am going to watch something shit on Netflix.
 
Im watching the second planet of the apes and I could do with it wrapping up a bit quicker to be honest
 
I've started watching Murder Mystery, and it's not very good. Wondering whether to stick with it or start watching Always Be My Baby instead.
 
That is weird. I think it's because earlier on I was going to make a very SCATHING REPLY about your GREEN HOT PANT GAYS but thought better of it, and in this new fangled forum if you start replying and go away it saves the reply, so I must have not deleted it properly before I tried to quote LOLLS :david:
