Surely I'm not the only one watching this? Came out on the 4th of July.

I'm up to the last 2 episodes and so far it's WAY better than Season 2!

Still living for Winona :disco:

I would have thought most people here would want to wait until they’ve seen it to discuss it.
I binged 4 episodes on Saturday and 4 on Sunday.
I quite liked how it ended, but I’d really like the
dead to stay dead.
I don’t think it’ll happen.

That last episode has got to be the best season finale of all time. This season is possibly the best of all. So fucking good.

The climax bit with the fireworks and that cunt getting thrown into the machine and then Queen Winona turning both keys :disco:

Is Hopper still ALIVE?!

Is Hopper still ALIVE?!
Of course he is. We never saw a body (or any melted remains).
It was a really good season, but certainly not without problems.
These 13 year olds that seem capable of long term relationships and telling each other they’re in love is beyond ridiculous. When I was 13 relationships were lucky if they lasted a DAY.

13 year olds really ARE that ridiculous though tbh.

I think I just loved how well envisioned the season was. I loved the way different groups discovered parts of the story and then they all converged at the end.

Loved Robyn's character. And absolutely adored the friendship between Elle and Maxine. So cute.

Joyce's character improved too, but needs a little more depth I think.

Oh actually you know my favorite bit? The talk that Nancy has with her mom (the milf). I teared up because it was so sweet.
The writing is so good.

I found the first couple of episodes quite slow and I was a bit concerned, but from episode 3 to the finale, it was absolutely gripping. What a thrill ride! Love the new characters too!

OMG I don’t know why I put off watching season 3 for so long but...

let’s just say I should trust my instincts :D

Didn’t this used to be like X-Files 80s remix? Now it’s a gloopy spider Frankenstein of 80s references, Mother Russia, the Goonies, Terminator and a later Elm Street sequel.

I did manage to binge it in 2 days which IS unlike me. The sheer pace and spectacle kept me in like a Dan Brown novel. Now I really don’t consider myself an intellectual fan of the fine arts, but it made my brain hurt.

And my ears too, why was everyone shouting all the time??

I’m sure the kids (and adults) were written better before, it’s like they were written by someone who has only experienced kids via Spielberg movies
