Morning.

I'm not generally one for the whole TGIF thing because the emotional abyss I generally slush about in knows no calendar but this week has been a bit shit and I'm off to a RAWK gig tonight so...yes, TGIF.

Generally fuck this week. Although I am wearing office shorts today, so that makes everything better.

There are a LOT of legs on show in here today. Not me - I'm wearing tights because my legs look like two baguettes that have been left in a sink overnight.

Horrid work week. Have taken today off to sit in the pub with a few mates and watch Wimbledon, so going for a mani-pedi to treat myself this morning. Feet still aching after Hyde Park last week.

Going for a pedicure really makes you feel better about your own legs and feet. The amount of bunions and yellow feet I’ve just seen on display put a few cracks on my soles in perspective.

Office baby's here so there's not much work being done and the oestrogen cloud is almost tangible. She's had a bottle and is asleep now but I did 1100 Fitbit steps just wandering up and down the office while she decided the time was right to go boboes.

It's the Big Day Out for Glasgow's neds today - town is absolutely crawling with them, all on their way to TRNSMT to see Stormzy and Gerry Cinnamon. They're all wearing fuck all and it's a scorcher here - they'll be burnt by 5 but they'll be drunk by 3 so they won't feel it.

Is this what they replaced TITP with?

if Scotland ends up leaving the UK, I hope they establish a union with Scandinavia so I can move here without any legal fiff-faff. it feels much like home but with actual nature and cider

Yeah. The bill this year was thought particularly poor but it seems the actual plan was to aim the days at different audiences and today's bill is for neds.

The only person that would interest me on today’s line up would be Mabel. Pretty crap as a whole.

I need a Floppet in my office (home)

I know. They tried to hold a raffle for tickets for today's bill in here and there was so little interest, it was turned into a silent auction. The winning bid was £40. For two tickets. That retailed at £60 EACH. :D

Wrong audience, we're all too old.

Baby Dannii yes, but Baby Kylie sorry no. I don't mind looking after them when they're all cutie and full of wonder but once they start toddling and I have to chase them around all bets are off.

Office baby came back after lunch and was fine for the first hour but then her mummy came to collect her and she didn't want to play with any of her office Aunties any more and kept crying till mummy took her off us.

I'm so broody for a grandbaby it's unreal (nobody tell spawn though) :D

I am just over an hours drive from Edinburgh and I am never there. It is beautiful, but I really don’t appreciate it enough.

You don't tend to when things are right on your doorstep, do you? I'm like it with Bath.

Sweet fucking JESUS please guide me home.i stupidly went home with the most beautiful man but I have now been waiting on my Uber for over 30 minutes and his mum is now here. PLEASE SHOOT ME.

So glad you’re enjoying your time here

What have you done?

I am back home now :( but Thursday was celebrated with good food, several cocktails and the night view of the city from Calton Hill. what time we had Friday was spent breakfasting at The Pantry and strolling around that absolutely gorgeous (and very posh) area. I am getting a house there you know xx

to be honest working class Glasgow speaks to the 'single mum on benefits' kid in me but there's no denying the grey sandstone aesthetics of the capital :disco:

I would have to give up biking everywhere though :D what a pain!

I bike everywhere around Edinburgh. The city has so many cycle paths, I'm sure you could get around, MOVE now :disco:

I just have a normal hybrid bike.

It is hilly in places, but the really big hills are avoidable, and the cycle paths are fairly flat.

He bloody lived with her. Who in their right mind would invite you back to their house that they share with their bloody Mother? He is 38, and divorced so it clearly wasn’t always the case but STILL. She came down the stairs as she heard voices. He could have at least gave me a heads up.

Yes, you'd think he'd have mentioned something like that but at least she didn't catch you in the act, that would've been mortifying :D

She may or may not have mentioned she was rudely awoken by someone squealing like a pig. I am too old for this nonsense.
