Mornin'.

Bit hungover but some water and a hop, skip and jump to the sorting office to pick up a parcel has cleared the cobwebs already. I'm going to try and be "creative" today.

Ugh. I enjoyed going to that retirement do in MK and seeing all those people I hadn't seen for 20 years AT THE TIME but it hasn't half STIRRED UP SOME OLD SHIT in my mind :vomit:

Like what, our SHIRL?

I’m exhausted. This week has been a real DRAG. I was working til 10 last night and I still haven’t switched off really.

God, aren’t we all happy this Saturday?

I woke up super early this morning so I’ve been busy cleaning

Weekends done wrong

Oh you know the PASSING OF TIME and ALL OF ITS CRIMES as he WHO CAN NO LONGER BE MENTIONED used to sing

I'll just listen to some DEPRESSING MUSIC and then I'll be RIGHT AS RAIN

Can YOU HEAR THE DRUMS FERNANDO

On the bus into town (another record fair, YAY) and it seems to be the Pride shuttle bus. I'm not ready for this much glitter before noon.

I did 5 pills last night and I'm now drinking wine in finsbury park. Hi.

I either have a cold or hay fever has hit me like a TRUCK.

It’s the latter. I woke up bunged up and coughing and dying and am fine now I’ve had my tablets.

Our local John Lewis is closing down today and I’ve just gone in for a final stroll around, a glass of free fizz and a couple of middle class eye waterings. YES I WILL MISS IT THAT MUCH.

My hay fever has lingered longer this year. I'm usually over it largely by the end of May.

My hayfever, which is usually crippling has been much better this year. I am more affected by weed pollen (later in the summer) and its usually terrible now but nasal spray and tablets are a life saver.

Yes, I'm lucky that mine is controlled fairly easily by tablets, if only I could remember to buy and take them.

Christ knows I'd be crap if I had to deal with menstruating.

I stock up from Wilkos, and take morning and night along with twice daily nasal spray. When the symptoms are that bad, its not hard to remember to take, its necessity for me

I take tablets for various ISSUES all year round and do the lot first thing. Never forget really.

I feel perkier today than I have for about two weeks. No doubt because the sun has fucked off and it's dipped about 10°c.

I have those old people tablet boxes with the days of the week on.

Honestly did 40 years of the past have to deal with this many tablets? I've said it before, but sometimes I do find it all a BIT MUCH AT TIMES. I have nights off.

Hay fever is another thing along with migraines that I seem to have GROWN OUT OF

MUSTN'T GRUMBLE I GUESS

So much for "creative" - did my washing, felt tired, went back to bed. OH WELL.

I was awake literally all night with baby Dannii who has a cold and was a bit unsettled. I even went into the spare room with her so as not to disturb Mr Star. Now he's just gone for a nap because he's tired :wired:

I ended up going to Pride, meeting up with a couple of friends, and bumping into a few more I hadn't seen for many years, which was rather lovely.

The Sophie E-B set went down far better than boring old Menly.

Bristol Kweens did not lose their shit to I Turn to You and errrr.Rock me?

I recently saw a ropey singer announce I Turn To You as by Mel B, at the local Pride. From a distance I corrected her to the agreement of many lesbians nearby.

She redeemed herself with an unlikely cover of Whigfield's Sexy Eyes.

I Turn To You went off the most, but then it was her last song, so even I clapped out of sheer gratitude it was nearly over.

If she looked like anything from the spice girls shows - she is looking amazing at the moment

I doubt she has changed much in about three weeks. Just presumably a lot less wet. Due to lack of rain, rather than lack of oestrogen.
