Was due to take Ron Jr to a festival today but he's poorleh, so it looks like I'm sitting in my pants all day reading. Oh well.

What are you reading Ron? I have decided I am going to get involved in some of the booze gathering dust in my poor neglected bar.

I wouldn't bother Rita. I've asked them to do books with pictures and got laughed at.

Afternoon...watched three old episodes of Mock The Week on Netflix, ones with comedians I like that were shown during the period I wasn't really watching it. The Donald Trump and Nigel Farage/Brexit stuff is actually an interesting look into a past when it all seemed like a ridiculous joke.

I can't watch satire/ political documentaries from prior to 2015 any more. Without the context of the last few years it all kinda becomes null and void.

Is it wrong that I am longing for dark Autumnal Saturday nights with Strictly, X Factor and copious amounts of alcohol?

It may well be as I have just ate my body weight in Salt & Pepper chips and am now feeling quite sick and HOT.

I've spent the day being amused by passive-aggressive-bin-wars at the flats opposite, only because I've been watching telly so have heard every time one of them comes out and moves the bins around that are still on the pavement opposite my window because they're all too lazy to spend two minutes bringing them back round the side of the flats. Alky woman brought her two bins inside the fence, ten minutes later party-flat boy came out and put them back on the pavement but in front of the gate so nobody could come in or out without moving them. Bottom flat woman came out, moved the bins to get to her car then put them back in front of the gate again before going out. It's been going on all afternoon, one will come out and move them and shortly after the other will come out and put them back how they were. I want to go and put the bins away myself but I reckon it'll turn into a scrap once they've all downed a few tins and I want to see party-flat boy get his arse handed to him by alky woman's boyfriend. :D

I'm longing for autumnal weather, but not the dark nights.

As it is, I've got Netflix to myself tonight. Can anyone recommend a decent Netflix original film? Preferably a comedy.

I enjoyed the Adam Sandler and Jennifer Anniston film for what it was. Very silly, and a bit banal but passed an hour and a half.

I am taking it you have already watched Dumplin’ ? If not watch that.

I think that's the only one I've seen. Yes, enjoyable enough fluff.

No, not seen that. It's between that and the Rebel Wilson one from a few months back, unless anyone has any other hot recommendations.
