Urgh. I feel like I've been run over or something. Thank goodness the structural shenanigans in here are over come Friday.

Anyway, morning. Discovered an ace new Glasgow hardcore/punk band last night called Overwhelmed and stuff like that always cheers me up.

been travelling a lot over the couple of months and now august looms planless ahead of me and the feeling is that of utter bliss. we're doing some renovation at the bar so it will also be closed for a few weeks and i will probably head to the mountains for a couple of weeks to escape heat and humanity.

i need to sort my apartment out. the living room is covered in unsorted laundry. i have the urge to throw stuff away. my birthday is in a couple of weeks and i would like to greet it with less baggage.

Had varying dreams about the festival I am throwing last night, from the sound system not turning up to it being absolutely rammed and amazing. All very vivid and panic-inducing.

Its for Ron Jrs birthday, or at least it was in the beginning. Got a field, stage, 3 bands, 2 DJs, an outside bar coming in and a couple of hundred people coming I reckon. We're basically fucking idiots spunking a load of money and giving ourselves loads of jobs just to throw a party. Secretly I want it to be amazing and then do it properly next year.

Poor little Baby Dannii, we've been in hospital since Monday. She was feeling unwell over the weekend and we took her to a&e on Monday morning where they rushed her through for possible sepsis. Tests have been coming back ok but she's still not 100%. I've never been so sleep deprived.
