Lorraine Kelly is fine but I didn't realise how much she was been now been pigeonholed in the tax dodger Hall Of Shame alongside Barlow and Carr until I saw the reaction to her announcement as a judge yesterday

I can't wait to hear Ru intro all these guests as he stares blankly at the autocue wondering which one he's supposed to be addressing :D
 
Lorraine Kelly is a massive Drag Race fan. I think she fits the right level, tax issues aside.

Maybe she can give advice on playing a character for tax purposes, that’s a relevant skill for the UK’s next Drag superstar

I'd take that with a MASSIVE pinch of salt. A couple of gays proclaiming insider knowledge outside the RVT on a Sunday afternoon may well not have the inside scoop :D

Having said that, World Of Wonder do have the formula working a treat right now and I think the UK twist will add something new to the mix, even if it's just Ru's general bafflement and Michelle's misguided efforts to show how much she gets the culture :disco:

Well it's from considerably more informed sources than THAT babe, so I'm inclined to get excited. I've been told it's the season of PERSONALITY :disco:

All the UK queens are scheduled for NYC Drag Con at the beginning of September so it DEF should have started by then. I just hope we get a Queen Reveal and trailer soon, rather than it just being dumped on iPlayer
 
Starting in October, according to the BBC Strictly blog when it announced Visage.

It's Drag Con London next weekend, so I imagine a reveal is likely then?
 
That's quite a disappointing reveal, isn't it?

I mean the manner of it, rather than the queens themselves.
 
I think I’ll wait until after watching the first episode. I love not knowing anything about the queens when they enter the work room

I think if they have modified the challenges to fit around a more UK style of drag, it could be potentially very good indeed.

I mean, Kim Woodburn and Deirdre Barlow in Snatch Game alone has me dribbling.
 
The sniff of Kim Woodburn is GOOD NEWS. I had my hopes.

I think the slightly older rougher queens, with one foot in more traditional UK drag have me most excited. So glad it's not awash with exclusively youthful Insta-ready Drag Race inspired queens. Although one of the social media queens had some ASTONISHING LOOKS. Move over Kim Chi.
 
Baga Chipz is from the Drag Queens of London documentary from about 5 years ago and was a member of The Buffalo Girls with Lady Lloyd and Silver Summers. She has tons of experience, and I can see going very far in the competition.
