Seems loads of people have been preemptively blocked on Twitter by this crowd before even knowing they existed. Including myself!

I am blocked and I use Twitter to be quite vocal about my views on the teaching of equality in schools. This makes me feel famous and I like it.

How do they know who is gay? Unless it’s plastered all over your profile, but very few gay people I follow do that.

The ones that have said they're blocked in the last few days are all openly gay which shows easily in their tweets.

It's a publicity stunt - just banning people whose profiles either state or strongly suggest that the person is gay. And it's working.
