AFTERNOON.

For once it's not raining here today. And it's my study day. Typical...

Afternoon!

It's a beautiful day and we're on our way to Brighton for a football match. Our journey soundtrack has been Taylor, Lana and Yonaka to add some gay.

Currently at a deliveroo food festival.

Free or otherwise, this vegan ice cream isn't very pleasant.

Good Afternoon my loves. We are meant to have a scorcher tomorrow so I am busy organising RITAS END OF SUMMER GARDEN PARTY. Since I have been a cripple the majority of the Summer and we have had pretty terrible weather why the HELL not? :disco:

On an ice cream note, I’ve noticed that too much of it tends to leave one’s tongue coated in what you might describe as an uddery phlegm, not that I’d go to the drastic lengths of having a vegan alternative and I’m sure that eating the whole tub in one go had nothing to do with it

I am listening to Tina Turner. By GOD isn’t she MARVELLOUS?

What does it taste like?

The flavour (I had peanut butter cup) was fine. It was the texture that was wrong. Kind of powdery. And it left a slightly unpleasant mouth feel.

Oh one can MORE than cope with that darling for the IMPERIAL DAIRY NECTAR that is Haagen Dazs.

I can remember buying a certain make of dairy ice cream that left my mouth feeling like I had doused it with talcum powder if I got a particular flavour and that was DAIRY. Not nice.

I’m at a wedding today in Cumbria

It doesn’t start until 4, is this how the English do weddings?

I’ve managed to go the gym at the hotel and for a swim, as well as an afternoon nap. :D

I got a letter from my gas company (in Japanese), which I had to Google translate. The sign off was translated as:

“Although it is the last writing, since it is the turn of the season, please love yourself”

How nice :)
I wonder what the hell it really says

I like vegan ice cream, the Ben and Jerry's one is gorgeous!

The weather here is beautiful. I've done enough studying. I'm off for a walk round the park. Changed days from my Saturday nights years ago...

A young lady called Yvonne moved in to the village here. She was very straight laced, mousy brown long hair, and was rather meek. Within 6 months she had her hair shaved in to a peroxide blonde buzz cut, started wearing checked shirts with very baggy denim jeans and I can only assume took a penchant for a two fingered twix as she must have put on at least 5 stone and shacked up with the local lesbian SHIRLEY and started calling herself VON.

The other Yvonne I came across was a librarian back home in Donegal.

:D Oh aye. SHIRLEY, eh? Who knew!

In ice cream news, I’m so fucking suggestible that I’m now fixating on it and I see that (non-vegan) Ben and Jerry’s is a mere TWO POUNDS at Iceland. I’ve not been back there since The Incident but I might have to force myself and pretend it was my sick twin

How indiscreet to share her full name :D

Naturally I’ve already scurried off to have a look at her on FB (and she doesn’t look the sort to be that bothered) :disco:

I know a lesbian Yvonne. She was the newsagent's daughter and used to babysit us. She was always dressed in leather and denim, and would bring her Suzi Quatro albums with her to play on the music centre.

Look, we've all known an Yvonne or two. Some of us have even known a Von and/or a Vonny.

Some of us MIGHT have sold a joblot of knocked-off Twixs.

THAT IS ALL.
