For no other reason than I've been playing loads of vinyl this morning and thought it might be FUN.

According to Spotify these are the latest non-singles and non-playlists I’ve listened to:

Lana del Rey - Norman Fucking Rockwell
Ólafur Arnalds - Re:member
Ariana Grande - Sweetener
Rosalia - El Mal Querer
Franska Trion - Rim & Ramsor

What is the Ezra Furman album like? I really enjoyed Perpetual Motion People but couldn't get into the last one as much.

Wild. 11 tracks in 27 minutes, a punk-influenced scattergun of anger and frustration. I felt scorched.

Had a listen this morning, it certainly cleared the cobwebs. I liked the album more than I initially thought I was going to, even if (predictably) the slightly less ferocious tracks appealed most.

Norman Fucking Rockwell - Lana
Honeymoon - Lana
I Love You, Honeybear - Father John Misty
Purple Mountains - Purple Mountains
The Anchoress - Confessions of a Romance Novelist - and yes because @Suedey posted it and I'd never heard of her. Not bad!

Rarely listen to full albums these days but Mahalia's album has been on repeat this week:

mahalia

I can't help but rage a bit when somebody says this.

sadly, i'm the same as cwej. the album's pretty dead at mine. apart from vinyl, i rarely ever listen to full albums. that said here are the last ones i did.

are we there - sharon van etten / still great
charli - charli xcx / i likey vvm
miami memory - alex cameron / massively disappointed by this
dedicated - carly rae jepsen / vinyl arrived
norman fucking rockwell - lana del rey / meh

if ep's count, the albums were interspersed by:

ralph ep - ralph
true ep - solange

It's just over two weeks since I posted my list above (and that was a guess because I couldn't remember the last five for certain), and I think I've only listened to two albums in their entirety since.

You people are terrible. I've listened to more than five albums today.

Can't do pics at work but

Stereolab - Emperor Tomato Ketchup
Stereolab - Dots and Loops
Stereolab - Cobra And Phases Group Play Voltage In The Milky Night (nabbed all of these in their new 3LP edition reissues, innit? Paid for them at beginning of July so it's about bloody time)
Charli XCX - Charli
Hilary Woods - Colt

Pain in the bum to do pictures on my phone but:

Madonna - Madame X
4 Strings - Turn it around
Alexandros - Sleepless in Brooklyn
Hoshino Gen - Pop Virus
Robyn - Honey

Charli XCX - Sucker
Lana Del Rey - Norman fucking Rockwell!
Charli XCX - Charli
Kim Petras - Turn Off The Light vol.1
Céline Dion - A New Day Has Come

I don't tend to play a full album every day but most days there are at least 2-3 I cherry pick 7-8 songs from before I move on.
