No, actually I can. Little Richard and Paul Lynde were both stellar. I think Nina Bo'nina as Jasmine Masters is the only time a queen playing a queen hasn't pissed me off.

Nina as Jasmine remains in my top ten of all time. When she threw the mobile phone at Naomi Campbell obviously being the highlight. Well, that or the Tabasco...
 
Is there any chance that list is fake? Really holding out hope for a better lineup.
 
Ever since I saw it pointed out elsewhere, I can't get the idea of Divina doing Lady Tottington out of my mind :D

I'm hoping so, but if Gemma Collins bulldozes over everyone else I won't have too many complaints. It would definitely wipe that smile (if not the scar 'lol') off T'Viv's face.

You would have thought that at a time when it’s frankly quite awful and embarrassing to be British, these silly queens would have all chosen someone who is FABULOUSLY BRITISH to counter it somewhat BUT OBVIOUSLY NOT :zombie:

Well Cheryl's GC is nowhere as good as I'd hoped. Still better than the front row other than Baga, though.
 
Crystal is piss weak. Shame, as all four Golden Girls would be great in the right hands.
 
I thought aside from Sum Ting they were all FINE, we’ve seen FAR FAR WORSE on the US show. Divina was a bit flop though considering what she’s capable of.

Crystal’s syphilis joke would probably put her in the top 3 on a weak US one :D

I find Blu HIGHLY irritating, her Mary Berry was one joke away from being a bit of a car crash. The Northern Irish speech was nice and needed HOWEVER.
 
I enjoyed it, but it felt a bit like a missed opportunity to me.

Glad Sum Ting Wong has gone.

Still waiting for a lip sync which is more than adequate.
 
The Vivienne not doing Kim or Cilla was a crying shame.

Any fears that the Thatcher would be a loving tribute were not founded, which was nice.
 
Obviously The Vivienne's Trump will play far better to US audiences and help her touring over there, but I can't help but feel slightly shortchanged by it. I can appreciate it was really good, just not what I wanted. I suppose even if she'd have managed a life changing Cilla or Kim, to all international viewers it would have meant fuck all.
 
I guess who wins, will be whoever they least want to go to All Stars. So I would guess The Vivienne will win over Baga.
 
Funny the NI gay marriage thing was broadcast two days after the law changed (to literally no press fanfare).
 
I think Crystal’s lipsync was a prettt decent attempt considering she’s CLEARLY not a natural dancer. She used her Mad Max cavewoman outfit to her advantage, and it worked (at least for the first half).

Sum Ting’s cheap ass Britney outfit :D I was actually here for her makeup concept (although i’ve seen it done better on IG) but the outfit was ALL WONG.

Interesting we get to see most of the lipsync, compared to the cutdown we get in the US version. I actually think it makes LESS compelling viewing :D A shorter edit of Crystal this week could have made it look a lot tighter for example.
 
That was a great episode! And despite the weak links, I think this was a very good snatch game.

The runway was very very good too.
 
Geri was awkward, it was hard to watch. Humourless and when she laughed (like during the lip sync) it came off as fake and out of place.

Was so excited for the lip sync, but they really ruined it. Love Crystal but wtf was that?!

But is this the first time they play a whole song in the lip sync?
 
What a weird outcome. On no planet was Baga's performance OR runway anywhere close to The Vivienne's so how it was a 'tie' was beyond me. Blu was terrible - not funny at all, totally crass. I can't believe they made a point of Ru telling her she was funny. Very odd.

Sum Ting Wong obviously the right one to go. Crystal's Rue was so disappointing - could have been great. And tbh so was Cheryl's Gemma - a huge character that she played at 10%.
