I am actually still chuckling at that. The photo is absolute gold.

Working from home today as I've an appointment with the nurse at 10am for my annual asthma check and lady-bits indignity.

Cunningly scheduled them both together so I can blame any high blood pressure or crappy breathing results on the stress of worrying about the other thing she's going to do.

Finally shifted the tiredness from the weekend, either I was a bit run down, or my body can't handle 4 days of ket any more. I suspect the latter.

That said, I feel mentally refreshed, and have some clarity now on some business related stuff that was bogging me down. Probably be the last time I spend a weekend in khole though.

No lady-parts indignity, no checking to see whether I can still breathe and a wasted day off work with no apology because the utter fuckwit of a telephone receptionist hadn't actually booked the appointment despite giving me a time and date for it weeks ago when I made the other two appointments she did manage to book. Then another rude fuckwit of a receptionist told me I obviously hadn't booked it! Luckily I had the good sense to leave before I started smashing shit up and I have come home to calm down.

Do these idiots think women turn up at randomly at their surgery on the offchance they can score a free smear test?

My friend has been waiting since July to have a massive suspicious mole removed from her arm. They told her she was on a list & would get an appointment in 4-6 weeks but after 8 weeks she rang up to find out wtf was going on. Turned out she had never been put on the list as they apparently didn't have her phone number. she kicked off and has had to wait another month.
She had it removed yesterday and sent off for testing. The doctor assisting told her they think it looks like skin cancer and why had she waited so long to have it checked. :manson: That didn't go down well.

Don’t get me started. In 2019 it seems in every job we are littered with so many inefficient people. I have came across so many instances over the last while across all fields that people just can’t seem to do their job anymore.

Fuck's sake. That's horrible.:(

In the meantime, I get letters every three months or so from my GP surgery telling me to book a smear test despite them being 100% aware that I don't have a fucking cervix. Grrrrr.

I got a text yesterday telling me to book mine. Moopy ladies must be in SMEAR SYNC.

At least mine isn't to do with anything serious. Your poor friend, I hope she gets good news.
