Two new singles. I really like both. The ballad is written by Julia Michaels and you can tell but it's quite sweet.



And the other is a bit "everything but the kitchen sink" but it kinda works.

 
‘Lose You To Love Me’ is DULL AS FUCK.

I love Selena as much as the next person. But she really doesn’t have the presence to release a song like THAT as a comeback.

It's basically a Julia Michaels song that was probably a reject from her upcoming 52nd EP, and she's VV dull to begin with

To be fair, it is straight in at #1 on US Spotify and #11 on UK Spotify, so it is doing rather well for a midweek release.

Streaming is quite misleading though. It was always likely to generate huge numbers out of curiosity alone. I predict a SLUMP when everyone realises it’s, well, shit.
 
Lose You To Love Me is absolutely BLINDING! I expected to come into here to find heaps of praise!

I haven't really followed her music in the last few years but that Bad Liar song was trash and her collabs whilst fun have been totally faceless. This is the best thing shes done in ages!

Oh absolutely it will fall, but they just seem like very high debuts for her don't they? Someone who is hardly a top 5 hit getter?

Anyhoo, I quite like it but I definitely quite like her on form. Back To You was marvellous.

Lose You in at 15 on the Hot 100 with 2 days of sales/streams. Good shot at top 3 next week.
 
Has anyone bothered with the album? It’s reminds me of Stars Dance.
