RPDR UK S1 E4 (spoilers)

Donald Trump was a superb impression, although I'll never get over that we missed a Kim Woodburn one from someone so talented.
 
Also Sum Ting did much better in the lip synch I thought. It looked much more choreographed than Crystal's, who really disappointed me tbh
 
Crystal's freak show Geri Halliwell scaring efforts couldn't have gone home. Sum Ting would have to do a LEGENDARY lip sync to save herself, which is was not.
 
I thought Sum Ting embodied the spirit of the song better than Crystal, but it certainly wasn't epic enough to compensate for how shitty she was in pretty much every other aspect of this week's challenge.

How come they all got time chatting to Ru and Alan about their Snatch Game character apart from Cheryl Hole?
 
Sum Ting just looked like she was performing a routine she choreographed as an 8 year old to me.

Well, yes, but for a Spice Girls song isn't that kind of appropriate? :D

Moreso than the weird slutty moves Crystal pulled out.
 
It pretty much was the actual routine. It was hard to watch. I liked Crystal banging the floor, but a more full on bat-shit cyberpunk Sunchyme from her wouldn't have gone amiss.
 
I thought Sum Ting was AWFUL in the lip sync! Cringeworthy, like pretty much everything she did this week. She's a lovely person but was WAY out of her depth this week.
 
I'm just glad I don't have to look at her any more, to be brutally frank.

Well...

I agree with the joint win- Baga was funnier, Viv’s runway was better but neither of them had the deathblow, I didn’t really like Viv’s “pooey” runway.

Cheryl is delivering safely, no big disasters but the most likeable one, I like her being there. Her Snatch was decent for someone like me who doesn’t really know Gemma.

Blu was good for me, I thought the runway was original, and she had a solid strategy for snatch game. I’m fine with drag queens being crass thanks

Divina was lucky her runway was good enough (again I didn’t really like it that much). It was a bit of a non-starter storyline, I can’t imagine Maggie would’ve been better from her.

Crystal was DOA, as I expected not a funny bone in her body, and even the lip sync was joyless.

Sum Ting had to go, terrible snatch, terrible runway. The lip sync was the best bit! I wondered if it was possible for her to win, maybe that’s more because I don’t like crystal.
 
The worst thing about the lip sync was how out of sync they both were both lyrics and rythm wise.
 
I just keep thinking WHY David Attenborough??? It wasn’t even that good, just an old man who sneezed in flour. The level of impersonation and relevance was on par with 9-year-old me trying to do Lloyd Grossman impressions
 
The Viv's Trump was amazing. Cheyna actually had me laughing out loud. She still impersonated a hetero cis man though. Baga was hilarious as well, but she's clearly incapable of anything creative on the runway. This is the second week in a row where she has failed miserably.

Geri was completely clueless. Just how much better was Emma when she was on the judging panel! Sorry but that's further proof that Baby (and Sporty) is the best Spice.
 
Oh and I was sooooo excited we finally got a Spice Girls song for the lipsync! Only for both girls to turn out a shit performance :gross:

It was very surreal, like a bewildered Giles from Gogglebox. He certainly is in his own little world.
 
Had Sum Ting never watched any earlier Snatch Game episodes? It wasn’t even that the jokes never landed, there wasn’t any jokes at all. Glad she’s gone.
 
I think the Queen stamp look flattered to deceive. But even then the signs were there.
 
Viv’s Donald Trump was absolutely sensational. I was living for it. Baga and her bounced off each other so well, but I really don’t think Baga deserved the win.

Blu really should have got read for being absolutely nothing like poor Mary Berry.

And I was underwhelmed by Cheryl’s Gemma. Like was she even padded? And not even a fall off the chair. If you’re going to do Gemma Collins you should do her right.
 
Alan Carr is really bloody fantastic on this show. Loved him telling Geru to stop right now. :D
 
Totally missed the nod to Asia O'Hara's butterfly fiasco in The Vivienne's catwalk, until pointed out in the official podcast.
 


If executed as well as the photo, it probably would have been her best runway. Not that THAT is saying much.
 
Of course they're not all genuine. The show was done and dusted over SIX months ago, so the eliminated queens have had plenty of time to get these costumes together. AS IF Vinegar would have brought this to the show...
 
The Vivienne looked like the Grinch, but with flowers.

For all our disappointment at the lack of British icons, in the form of Baga and Viv, did we have the best snatch game ever? I couldn't stop laughing.

I think what Baga did was better than V, tbh. The Vivienne did a brilliant impression and with many jokes, but Baga was v clever. It felt like real satire.

yeah I think this is it. I didn’t really want a trump impression, as good as it was, it didn’t really do much except retread SNL
 
My face actually hurt with Alyssa in fantasy free fall as Crawford and Alaska seemingly ready for anything. I'd say had Davina done herself justice it could have felt like an all time high for the segment, but 2 of the best ever (in my opinion) can't yank up the dead weight and the middling.

There were already two other Earth/Flower creatures on that runway. We don’t need another kimono-gate.
 
The dress is nice but it looks like someone has point blank SMASHED her in the face with a raspberry pavlova
 
I have to agree with Kala, though. As much as that would be her best runway (yet still not that great) nothing she delivered from the show or her insta as far as I've looked makes me think she would have pulled it off. No doubt it would have been another poorly conceived look had she stayed.
