It won't. They all live near me and they all seem to make a PARTICULAR EFFORT to go out when it's SNOWY and/or ICY. MUST GET MORE OF THAT FREE NHS TREATMENT

Students can. of course, register both at their uni address and at home but it's a bugger and you have to call it at a certain point (or something).
 
I think it's going to be very tight again. I don't expect a majority. Maybe a coalition, but I can't see that happening either. The Lib Dems and Labour seem to be fighting amongst themselves when really they should be focusing on the common enemy.
 
Given that this election is 100% about Brexit whether the parties like it or now, there's no possible coalition.

Tories - Boris's deal or no deal
Labour - not Boris's deal and people's vote
Lib Dem - Remain
SNP - Remain

Assuming The Brexit Party get fuck all (the nightmare scenario being that they become the new DUP....), there is no commonality of position.

We're not quite in Judean People's Front territory here. The Lib Dems are now Yellow Tories, hoping to attract Remain Conservative voters. That's how they should be considered under Swinson.

Paddy Ashdown will be spinning so hard in his grave, he'll be posthumously convicted of illegal fracking.

There's five of them left, but I'm not sure if they'll last to the election as the overwhelming likelihood is that they'd all lose their seats.

Yeah, there is this. There will be some traditional tory voters who vote Brexit Party, there will be some that vote Lib Dem, the Tories aren't as safe as they think.

Meanwhile a lot of Labour voters will swing because they want Brexit, or don't trust Corbyn. This is why I don't think there will be a majority, and why polls are a waste of time. ALL BETS ARE OFF.

Have to say my biggest fear here is not the size of the biggest party but who actually is in it. I'm pretty certain the tories will be the biggest, but having already cast aside all their most moderate members, it paves the way for more right wing sycophants to make their way in. Wonderful.

If the Lib Dems end up in a kingmaker position again, I have no idea what they'd do. Propping up Johnson would be antithetical to their Brexit stance, but I really don't think Jo Swinson would countenance putting Corbyn in Number 10 (and if Corbyn does perform better than the polls suggest, the odds of him agreeing to stand down to make way for a more palatable leader are slim/zero).

So, in all liklihood, another hung parliament with no progress whatsoever. :bruised: - And that's probably the best case scenario! (The worst being a Tory majority or a Con/Brex coalition, obviously).

Yes, on the face of it. But there are a lot of marginals where one or the other could do better than the tories with a bit of clever campaigning, not that it'll happen.

The SNP certainly aren't as in vogue as they used to be, but in all honesty if this is about sending a message on Brexit, then they feel like the only option up here. Obviously there's a few seats where this isn't the case, like Jo Swinson's, but I can't see the Lib Dem vote solidifying enough to seriously challenge for the Tory seats.

Vote tactically then, look at whos mostly likely to oust the tories in your area and vote for them.

As much as I would hate to admit it, I think it will be a Tory majority this time actually.

There is public support for Boris - and not just from flat earthers.
